I was in town for work, stayed at the hotel across the street and ended up in this location of Compass multiple times. This is a really nice cafe! The coffee was very good, people working there were nice and clearly took it seriously, and the space is basically perfect for a cafe, with lots of indoor and a moderate amount of outdoor seating. If I lived in town I'd go here every day...

Decided to drop in while in georgetown to try one of the specialty drinks, the cherry blossom latte. Very crowded place, but nice cozy ambience and a fireplace in the back too. Good for studying, lots of students there. Drink itself is not that great though, but perhaps the wrong thing was ordered

Best coffee in DC, or maybe even the region. I rarely buy other coffee because Compass is that much more delicious and balanced. I go out of my way to stop by a store, and I get it delivered to my house monthly. My favorite!

it was too crowded when we were there but I think there was a speed dating event happening. the matcha latte was extremely sweet but perhaps next time we can ask for the sweetness to be adjusted. the space itself is very nice. I see the potential!

One of my favorite coffee shops in DC! I went to a different Compass Coffee two years ago the last time I was in town and loved the coffee. This location is spacious with a variety of seating options which was great for getting a little work down on my laptop. Friendly service and really fun and tasty seasonal specials. This time I got the cherry blossom latte, I also had the lavender latte another time. Two years ago, (it was so good I remember what I ordered) I had a seasonal Gingerbread Latte which is probably my favorite drink I've had from Compass Coffee.

Mediocre flat white with a unnecessarily huge serving. Incredibly overpriced. Basically like Starbucks. Good for students and those that like loud, annoying music.
