Every time I visit DC, I make sure to eat here! Great service and the food is the best. Highly recommend any of their empanadas, or the Carne Guisada!

Nice really nice small Guatemalan restaurant in the heart of Washington DC!Service was really good (one lady show) perfect. Waiting time was short!Food was great… Guate tamales extremely good… freshly fried chicken empanadas!! Guac n chips.. guac could be a bit more, true Guatemalan flavor… and crema… good crema! Yes Guatemala crema flavor!

What a thoroughly lovely neighborhood restaurant! Delicious/unfussy food at a reasonable price, great community vibe, and super friendly service -> I honestly don't know what else you could ask for. This is the kind of business that enriches the community it's in. Go eat here!
Overpriced it’s not authentic Guatemalan food, it’s extremely expensive for what you get. I asked for some food to go and they charged me for items that weren't in my order. I don't recommend this place at all.It is a very expensive place, and it is not authentic Guatemalan food, the food is very expensive for what you receive, I made a take-out order and they put things on my bill that were not in my order. I don't recommend this place at all. Not only is it already expensive but they also charge you for things they don't give you.

I've walked past this place so many times and finally tried it and I'm glad I did! This is one of those local places that I hope all the white folks in the neighborhood try :)The ceviche was delicious (I got just fish not mixto though I'm sure that would have been good too!) and a chicken burrito.I wish the burrito had come with avacado or guac.. but the chicken was delicious!
