Good food but the wait is d*** long for no reason. I don’t understand how this spot makes you wait 30mins for halal food. It’s literally 5 things you put in the platter.

Great value in Georgetown. Delicious bowls, especially the chicken.

Definitely better than Halal Guys! The key is the chicken here. Very flavorful on it's on without the sauce. At many places the white/red sauce brings the only flavor to the meat but at DCG the chicken itself is so tasty. The red/white sauce have perfect balance. Definitely a must!

Small hole in the wall gyro and gyro platter place in scenic Georgetown. It's much much much better than...the other guys if you know what I mean. Food was fresh, service was quick, and can't really get a more filling meal for $10!

Best Gyro I have ever had, I love everything about your guys food! Great customer service, the staff deserves a bigger kitchen though! Hope to see you guys on M street soon

Visited this place tonight because I was craving a decent gyro or fresh Mediterranean dish. Taking a cue from Yelp reviews, I chose DCG, and unfortunately received neither. I've never had a decent gyro during my years of living in DC, and was very hopeful the reviews wouldn't steer me wrong. I ordered the chicken plate with rice and salad once I didn't see a grill or carving spot laden with gyro meat. What I got was tandoori looking chicken over basmati rice with a shingle of salad tucked away in the corner all slathered in a mayo based sauce. Edible, but certainly not a Mediterranean dish.

Food was amazing and the staff were very sweet and gave great service along with the food. Can safely say that as a New Yorker this is better than Halal Guys based on the flavor profile and quality produce.

The Gyro was okay. The chicken was not. The place looked very old and unorganized. If I were the owner, I would spend some money for a complete renovation and fresh look
They have a hard time understanding English, got my order all wrong even though I repeated it twice!

Hands-down the best place to eat. I love their gyro/chicken over rice w/ white sauce. I wish they were closer to my house I would eat there every week ?

Good portion sizes. We ordered Chicken Over Rice - the chicken cooked well but the rice lacked flavor. I liked their inclusion of cucumbers in the salad.

Excellent and reliable meal at a very reasonable price. Can't go wrong.

The chicken & gyro rice bowl with red&white sauces is so so amazingly good. I’m addicted. (First time I ate it I had some gas and urgent bathroom visit but I think it was just the new food my body wasn’t accustomed too?) I’ve eaten there several times since with no issue- it’s really so tasty I love it.
