I've worked in Georgetown for 17 years and I've been coming to DTB since opening. I love the product and I used to love the staff, but lately the workers at the register do not provide good customer service. I'm specifically talking about the morning staff. The boy that took care of me and my co-workers this morning around 7:30am has an attitude all the time and does not represent you guys at all. I am used to the attention to details just the way it used to be. Product is expensive and I am willing to pay for good quality of food, but not for the poor service. It is all about the experience :)

The veggie sandwiches arrived out front, absolutely delicious vegetarian offering with high quality mozzarella cheese, tomatoes, and other veggies. Really fantastic! It reminded me of loved one who loved these types of sandwiches. My husband loved this sandwich as much as I did. The oat milk lattes hit the spot,. The strawberry parfait, a take on the traditional strawberry shortcake from New England, was delicious also. The sandwich came with cookie or chips. My husband got a chocolate chip cookie out of it, and he loved it. Everything we had was wonderful and it really helped to make our day. This bakery helps military veterans and their families, making it that much better. The person who took my order and made my lattes was very friendly and professional. I should note that in the past, the morning glory muffins were a favorite. I was told then they are a big seller.

This is a very good baked goods and coffee shop on a back side street in Georgetown Washington, D.C. Upon entering this place you get pristine vibes as the interior features fresh visuals as the decor sits in front of white walls, cozy seating perfectly situated throughout, and glass showcases housing their baked goods. You also immediately recognize that the interior design features old equipment on display, calligraphy on message boards, and crafty, handmade products for purchase which resemble a previous American time periods. The staff here are also friendly and assist by offering purchase recommendations. There mission here is to honor the military community and they accomplish this by incorporating this sentiment into their decor. Overall the baked goods, both sweet and savory, are delicious. I do appreciate the attention to detail and quality in their baked goods. Pride certainly was at the forefront of decision-making when this shop first opened and it seems 10 years later they're holding on to their business values. I'll certainly continue to visit here when in the area.

Great cranberry muffin! Latte was good but slightly milky - staff was super kind. Would love to try some other goodies soon

Cute cafe in Georgetown. Loved their funfetti cake. Not too busy during the weekend. Servers were welcoming and nice.

The food was mid. I would recommend the hot chocolate, the service was trash. The cashier had an attitude and was unwelcoming. when someone would order he would make a ridiculous face like if he wasn't the one who signed up for the job, but the waiter who gave us the food was outstanding and had excellent customer service. God will bless him.

This cafe is just ok. I asked for a Mocha double espresso coffee, and here is the result! Cold and not good. There are some other bakeries around, I suggest you try them!

Love this non-profit bakery and their mission. Stop by for baked goods and coffee in the morning and know you’re supporting a good cause. Some evenings Dog Tag hosts open mic comedy and story-telling events in partnership with Armed Services Arts Partnership, another awesome veteran and family focused community non-profit that provides free arts and comedy classes! Give this place a try on your next visit to Georgetown. P.S., the house blend coffee is a solid performer.

Top notch pastries and such a wonderful place for those with nut allergies. Even if you don't have allergies to nuts this is worth your time, you won't be disappointed.
