When in DC and you have the sweet urge, what can beat the cherry jelly doughnut and a cup of Dunkin' java?

Seriously the worst service ever, even for a Dunkin' Donuts. My father and I stopped by to grab some coffees today in the hot July weather. I had such a terrible experience that I had to find the Yelp page even though I'm from out of town and surely will never stop by this place again, because it was so insanely bad. The woman behind the counter (who I'm certain is the same woman that other people have written about on here based on the description of her attitude) took forever to serve us and then when she finally got around to taking our order said she was out of almost everything, even basic items, and even when she listed them out as options -- for example, she asked my dad what kind of milk he wanted and he said "regular" and she said she didn't have that even though she listed that out as an option that she had. She was unbelievably rude and kept walking away in the middle of ordering, forgot to make my dad's order even though we told her 3 times that he wanted an iced coffee, and even had the nerve to try to close the shop up when we were still waiting to pay! We wound up leaving without getting his coffee because she was so unpleasant and rude. What an unbelievably horrible attitude this woman had, and a terrible experience! Avoid at all costs -- there are plenty of other Dunkin' Donuts around!

This is not a complete Dunkin' Donuts. You pour your own coffee and put your own donuts in a bag and then pay for it. They have a limited selection. But you don't have to leave the building to get something and that's a plus. Note, you have to be in the State Department building to get to this Dunkin' Donuts, you can't get here from the street.

Have come here several times before work as it says it opens at 6, every time (3x now) the metal gate is closed although I see an employee in there...everytime. Everything I have found says it opens at 6. I have waited until 6:30 and they still haven't opened. If these aren't the right hours, maybe they should change it on public sites. And I haven't been the only one sitting outside in the chairs waiting at 6:20. Very frustrating

I ordered "on the go," from my app. Ten minutes later, I arrived & asked about my order? The staff looked st a monitor and started making it. What's the point of on-the-go ordering if the outlet is going to ignore it? I asked for a receipt. The reply " we outta receipts." Problematic outlet. Once the we're out of capuchinos, mid day. Students are the primary consumers; they don't care.

More than 10 minutes until closing: "No donuts." Solid lie, man...we just saw them. Hopefully things improve soon.

You are required to be a employee of the Department of State to get this coffee.

This is not a real dunkin donuts shop, it's similar the ones you find in a gas station. It's mainly for use for the employees of the building, but no indication of this is given until you are already there. Admittedly, I'm from the north east and I have high standards for dd.

It's hard to find but worth it. Been here twice when visiting GWU. You enter what looks like a dorm building (it is) and there's a food court downstairs. Great place to hang out on a rainy day - we had great service (maybe because we were the only 'olds' in the area?) If you come late in the day you might get an extra donut free!

Cashier this morning told me that I couldn't have a frozen ice cream drunk because they currently didn't have any ice cream. I can see the cooler right next to me is full!! What he meant to say was I'm tired and lazy and won't make you what you'd like to order....should have gone to my usual stop!

Frankly speaking, I like the food in DD. But that two lady's service is terrible. They are all bad to others and don't make my coffee as your order. I always order a coffee with cream and sugar, but there are many times they just don't add anything. The same thing happened this morning, I was a little angry and came back to ask for adding sugar. Then I was shocked, one lady squeezed almost a half bottle the syrup to my coffee and also offered me the angry face. I felt really bad. But anyway, I will never come back even it is just beside my building. I will add less one star if I can.

This is the worst Dunkin I've ever been to. The only reason this place is still profitable is because it's right in the middle of GW. The donut selection is always lackluster, they're often stale and not organized. Often times I'll order a bavarian cream and get a lemon, jelly or some other variety. The donuts seem jumbled on the shelves without much organization. The service is universally pretty shitty. I won't be going back here. I'd rather walk to Starbucks a few blocks away for some decent service.
