Ceviche was amazing we tried the Roccoto and Classico and it was delicious, great cocktails and great fast service. Love it will definitely be back! Highly recommend Roccoto ceviche and chicha morada cocktail Also beautifully decorated, busy but upscale feel.

AMAZING experience here for date night. We tried the ceviche with tiger milk, the mushrooms, and the fried rice with seafood. My husband got steak. We loved our food. The service and ambiance was top notch as well. We will be back!!

False advertising... Why does the menu show the 2024 one Michelin star logo? This was misleading for two reasons: the 2024 DC Michelin guide has not been released yet at this time, and the restaurant does not have a star. We asked our server about this, and he replied that the restaurant was featured in the guide (which is true for 2023) and that it was indeed misleading. Beyond the questionable Michelin guide status, the food itself was solid. Both the beef heart appetizer and corvina ceviche were delicious. The pescado a lo macho was also solid, although the cream sauce would benefit from a touch of acid to brighten it up. The panna cotta dessert is a MUST. TLDR great food and lovely ambience but rendered unsavory by suspect Michelin branding

We enjoyed every dish. The lomo saltado and sudado de eggplant in particular were standouts. The drinks were terrific too, and we all really liked the decor and lighting. Recommend!

We swung by for an impromptu Sunday night dinner and drinks. Service was great and we had some delicious chicha moradas and peruvian inspired dinner.

I found this restaurant in the Michelin Guide, so thought I'd give it a try with my wife. Service and Atmosphere were great, but the food and drink were just OK. She had a Pisco Sour she said was good, but I had the first drink on their cocktail list, the Orden, and it just tasted like whiskey without anything else. The Yuca appetizer looked like fried cheese sticks, but just tasted like bland potatoes with unremarkable sauce. The entrees were just OK, and were too salty. All in all, I was just not very impressed. Our server was really good and like I said, it has a nice vibe, although the artwork on the wall seemed unnecessary, you can be the judge of that.

What a great spot! My boyfriend and I recently tried El Secreto de Rosita and it was fantastic. The service was impeccable and the food was delicious. We started with the yucca and calamari and then shared the branzino entree. Everything was tasty and presented well, we especially liked the sauces. The cocktails were delicious as well. The atmosphere is sexy, it's a great date night spot! We'll be back!

El Secreto De Rosita is a wonderful gem of a restaurant. The Peruvian inspired food was amazing and high quality. We loved the seafood mixta ceviche as an appetizer and the pisco sours were delicious. Our entrees were equally good and the server was attentive and made helpful suggestions. This is a family owned place, and we were flattered that one of the owners came by to welcome us and tell us the story behind the restaurant. We look forward to many future meals at this charming spot.

El Secreto De Rosita provides a great vibe and is sectioned off into 3 parts: main dining, bar and window seating off to the side. Outdoor seating is also avalible. We were seated at by the windows. I loved the decor along with the pink napkins with matching elegant pink flower print plates. Do not make the mistake of making a reservation for dinner anytime before 6:30 pm. The resturant is pretty empty any time before 6:30. (We went on a friday) We were lucky enough to find street parking as soon as we arrived but there seemed to be a parking garage right across El Secreto De Rosita. Not sure if it's free. For apps we ordered Gambas Al Ajillo which I was expecting more than 3 prawns in oil for 20 dollars however the dish did not disapoint. I also ordered a Kawaii cocktail. I loved the sweetness level from the coconut and pineapple. But ice took up 70 percent of the cup which gave the illusion of getting more than you actually were. For main we ordered Aji De Gallina and Lomo Saltado: The Aji De Gallina had shredded chicken as the base with a couple of fingerling potatos, olives and a side bowl of rice. loved the Aji Amarillo Sauce however it was a bit thick. The Lomo Saltado was dissapointing. I had high expectations for this dish but the steak was chewy and the chunks were just out of bite size range. The tomatos and onions mixed with the sauce were flavorful. It came with a side of rice as well. For desert a dish of which I forgot the name of was a small creamy cake. And wasn't very sweet however it was perfect for me. The waiter brought us complimentary anniversay shots as she handed us the check which was a pleasant way to finish our anniversay date. From the food to the service and ambience I would give El Secreto De Rosita a 4.5 stars but once you factor in the price, it drops to 3.5 stars. Serving size should be bigger or price should be cheaper. I wouldn't recommend getting the appetizer Gambas Al Ajillo. A robbery. And the Lomo Saltado's steak was subpar. My favorite dish, Aji De Gallina, would be perfect if the sauce wasn't as thick. I had a great experience, loved the inside and staff, and would reccomend others to try it out but personally will not be coming back.

The food is terrible, a waste of money and expensive..

Too loud! Small area with bad acoustics. Tables were too close and we had to endure an extremely loud 3 top and a group across the room yelling at each other

Absolutely loved the vibe here! We came for a birthday dinner and the table they wanted to seat us at was delayed so they made it up to us by giving us champagne, yuca fries and dessert! It was very nice. We loved the ceviche and I really liked the steak I got. I definitely want to go back and try more things!
