I split the queso fundido with a friend and ordered El Sol Chicharrón (a quesadilla). Exactly what I needed after a cold day in the rain. Tasty food, good service, generous portions, 5/5

The restaurant has a very small space and you could definitely feel the close proximity that makes it feel cramped.Despite this, we were seated very effectively and the food was delivered in such a timely manner. The dish options were normal but not overwhelming and the appetizers and entrees were incredibly flavorful. I would say depending on your dish, it may be smaller or larger than you expect.I would advise not taking a car as it probably applies to all of DC, public transit and walking access was amazing and the area did not feel unsafe at the 8pm hour that we ate.Overall, we enjoyed our service, a comfortable authentic Mexican place for visitors!Parking: We saw some parking spots but very difficult to navigate around this area with car.

An awesome spot for some authentic Mexican food! The enchiladas called to me and were so filling and tasty. The maracuya margarita was sour but good! Fair prices for the portions too. I was so full!
Small but cozy place. Seating on the second floor. Food was fantastic!

The food was amazing. The service was a little slow. But the restaurant it was mostly full. So, it's not unexpected. I would definitely return and recommend it.

Food and drink were amazing. Margarita pitcher was STRONG and well worth the money. Free chips and salsa as well. Everything you could want from a solid Mexican restaurant.

Excellent casual spot for Mexican fare and catching up with friends.Beef tacos were a bit plain/dry, but I saw plenty of other food that looked delicious, and certainly warranting of a return.
