The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly! They accommodated to our dietary requirements and ensured we were happy with the food! Portion sizes were good and the price was reasonable! Highly recommend, we will definitely be going back!

I arrived at 12:10 on Friday and was greeted by a kitchen employee who didn’t seem happy that I came in. My Chicken Saag was terrible—it was very bland, the greens had not been puréed, and it had chunks of tomatoes. I have never had saag that contained tomatoes. I get Chicken Saag at several restaurants and it always tastes divine. I left here hungry and wishing I had stuck with my original plan and gone to Chipotle. BTW, there were no other customers the whole time I was there. DON’T EAT HERE!

We ordered the butter chicken and fish curry. Both were delicious! The garlic naan was good too. I definitely would return.

The rice was stale and butter chicken lacked a lot of flavor. I also felt that the chicken was a bit overcooked and didn’t have the right texture.

Sis up charged me for a drink just because he register was not working. And then gave me the small serving of lassi. This place overcharges for substandard food.

I thought they were a life-saver until clockwork orange happened. I ate something orange and like a clockwork, runs started few hours later. I spent the night sitting on the toilet. I had ordered saag chicken which gave me food poisoning. Either their hygiene standards are low or they are reheating previously cooked food that had been sitting for a while allowing bacteria to grow. May be both.

It was a nice dinner with great service. I ordered Bhindi Masala (Okra) - Vegan dish. It was great. Fast service! Come and experience. Very close to GWU. Lots of students enjoy foods here!

I tried this place as I was staying at the nearby Melrose Hotel. Marvelous tomato soup and lamb chops. Both were delicious and so happy I took a chance on this place.

The food was Ok, although it was served barely warm. The place was empty which didn’t stop the man in charge from applying a higher service charge because there were nine of us. The same person was brusque and unsmiling throughout and virtually rude when it came to paying the bill to which we added no furthet tip after the extra service charge. He just turned his back on us without thanks for our custom or goodbye. We would certainly not return.

Went here with my family for our evening meal after a long day walking through DC. We ordered several entrees to share and attempted to order some starters. We were told that most appetizers were unavailable as their "appetizer chef" had "gone home for the day"...at 7pm. We were still able to get an order of tomato soup, which tasted a little more like tomato paste. But everything else was very good and had abundant flavor. The basmati rice was aromatic and fresh. Service was fabulous. Our drinks were never empty and all staff were quite attentive.

Good service. Food OK but quite bland for Indian food.

As positives, location is easy to find and service is good. The restaurant is dated and in the basement which smells. The plates werent clean and looked like they were used for last 10 years and the table cloth smelt stale. The dishes tasted sweet and were not authentic as an example most dishes had sweet added to them. The portions for some dishes were ridiculously small like raita which around 50 ml or less not even adequate for a person. Lastly, they added a group service charge of 20% for a family of 5 people with 2 kids. Service charge is fine but its nowhere called out that it would be charged. Overall, do not recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for an authentic Indian experience at reasonable price!

I found a cockroach in my soup. I thought it was a spice at first, but upon closer inspection, I noticed there was what seemed to be an antenna attached to it. I looked closer and noticed it was an insect. I had eaten nearly 3/4 of the soup and a full plate of other food. It is very possible that I ate another cockroach or insect without noticing earlier in my meal.

Quite possibly the worst indian food in the dmv. Ordered the mixed grill through delivery and everything was so incredibly dry. The chicken was so dry and bland and the shrimp was dry and salty. Please get your Indian food fix from literally any other place.
