Inside was cute. Far too little seating. We spent >$50 for lunch and were unable to sit and eat it. We took our food across the street and ordered at butter chicken as well, so we sat there. Grilled cheese was OK. Got pizza GC, philly GC, bacon gc, and jallepeno gc. Only one I liked was the pizza one. I am used to fresh veggies and high quality meat. This was not that. Food from Butter chicken was delicious though and settled an upset stomach from what little grilled cheese I ate. This idea could be executed much better with higher quality ingredients, especially for the price.

This is great for a quick lunch or dinner. There is good variety and great flavors. We were a party of 5 and all ordered different variations. Everyone enjoyed their lunch. This is elevated grilled cheese for adults but lets the kids order something simple. Win win.

In the area just visiting, found GCDC and looked at the reviews expecting a good grilled cheese. Ordered the Reuben style. It had way too much mustard on it, burned my sinuses with every bite. For $13, I expected more pastrami (only maybe 10 small squares on my sandwich). The presentation was ok. Disappointing experience.

Food not to good, nothing special. If your like a child and like grill cheese go ahead. My order was done sitting on the back and never got called had to keep asking them. Took 30 mins for a grilled cheese Ruben.
Food delicious!! Don't even think about paying cash (even though they offer that as a choice). They won't have the change you need but will get "close enough". I guess you're expected to leave the rest as a generous tip???? No thanks!! Especially since you order at a kiosk and pick up the order at the counter when they yell your number.

Went with my family before visiting the Capitol. Great spot in DC for a quick bite! Street parking is hard to find but the walk is so beautiful, you'll enjoy the whole experience.

Awesome grilled cheese place!! We got the French onion and the pizza grilled cheese with Mac and cheese as a side and the tomato soup!! Both sandwiches were delicious and filling. The Mac and cheese was average but the tomato soup was delicious!!!! Service was good, food came out fast and there was a large group of us.
