Amazing food from start to finish, amazing portions, great tea, and Coffee. We read the reviews as we where looking for a place to eat breakfast. The owner is amazing, the food is phenomenal, my family and I all agreed. My kids never agree on food, we were all in a food coma.

Lovely host, seemed like a family business and I wish them well but I was very disappointed with the seating arrangements inside, went there with a toddler and my 5 year old, bad decision!Unfortunately, I had an upset stomach at the end of the day and that's the only place I ate that day. Food is very greasy and oily, my kid got sick too, who barely throws up, she vomited at the end of day,Menu has too many items all posted all over the wall and overhead and everywhere, would be nice to have a precise and small menu since it's run by family, you would have more control over the quality of food and service. I would love to give the interior an update, a small place like this can have good seating arrangements if done properly.

Quaint and authentic. The Ethiopian and American options are phenomenal and the family atmosphere was welcoming. Our food was tasty and fulfilling. We actually had two meals from our breakfast sandwiches. Hearty! Will try something new next time I visit and maybe enjoy the outside patio when it’s warmer. Definitely one of my new favs :-)Parking: Residential street is “permit only” for most of the day. There may be more availability on Georgia Avenue.

I had avoided this place, just 2 minutes walk from my house, for the longest time. First I thought it was a junkfood type coffee and sandwich place. Then when I realised it wasn't fully that, I still thought the name was totally dumb. I did know that I can't keep avoiding it forever, thus, a few months after my friendly neighbourhood convenience store owner heavily talked it up, I went. It is an Ethjiopian-owned spot that caters to the typical coffee shop crowd. They have a mix of normal fare, and some lowbrow version of fusion Ethiopian dishes. I had their altered variant of chechebsa. It wasn't bad as long as I didn't think of it as chechebsa. The place is tiny and quite cosy. I know I'll go back.

Cult classic and for good reason. Delicious Ethiopian food and even better service — the owners treat you like family. The one downside is it’s a bit small, so can get cramped when crowded.

This place has the BEST bacon egg and cheese sandwich that I've ever had! The woman at the counter was extremely friendly and provided great service. I HIGHLY recommend going here, you won't be disappointed! I can't wait to go back and try more of their menu.

Never seen a bad review of this place and rightfully so! The food is so delicious and you feel completely at home. A quirky and very comfortable neighborhood spot that is super affordable and fantastic for brunch. The menu is all over the walls so prepare to be overwhelmed if it’s your first time but I wouldn’t have it any other way!

If I'd taken pictures, they would have been fine. Tibs and veggies. Asked for some awaze. Tibs looked saucy, but i c couldn't taste awaze. And I was expecting it for dipping. I also would say that the Tibs were not tender and hard to eat. I also got lentil soup, something about the soup, and the potatoes that were mixed in with the veggies tasted of plastic. It made the lentil soup impossible to eat, and after picking all of the potatoes out, and working through the meat the result was an unhappy dish. Spot was cute and service was good.
