Ordered a ground beef burrito and got charged for it. Unsure of what I got, but wasn't a ground beer burrito.Everything is really small for what the price is.My burrito was TINY and $15. Nachos were eh.

*CHEF'S KISS* Cozy and utilitarian ambiance, with a cute tiny bar, very friendly and attentive service. But THE FOOD though! I just stopped in because it was near my barber and I knew that I could satisfy my "2 meal hunger" for relatively cheap. Frankly and honestly, this was the best Honduran food I've ever tasted. I don't say that lightly, I have eaten A LOT of good Salvadoran and Honduran food since I moved to the area in 2007. I've even had homemade pupusas from mothers of my students on a regular basis. I'm normally not a fan of refried beans on my Tostadas or in fajitas, but they used just the right amount, & they were damn good. For once I feel they actually contributed to the taste of the Baleada and Catracha instead of taking away. The food was so good I have finally dedicated the names of these dishes to memory. in the past they never made a big impact flavor- wise, just kind of good, simple Central American home cooking classics. Everything here was absolutely cooked to perfection and the chef knows exactly what balance of ingredients and fillings are exceptionally delicious in texture and complimentary flavors . STANDOUTS: The Catracha & the Baleada: Baleada -- roughly translated - a Honduran (person). Here the tostada is a double fried corn tortilla with refried beans, and crumbled farmers cheese. I have never had a fried corn tostada so decadently crispy-fried. I literally said " oh my gawd" when I took my first bite. The Baleada was soft and pillowy on the inside and was just the right amount of pan-crisp on the outside. The avocado, beans, cheese, egg, and crema just complemented one another, nothing overwhelmed anything else in flavor or texture. Perfect balance.

The food was delicious and the waitress was super nice! We got platanos, a chicken quesadilla, and a ground beef burrito. The crema that came with everything was incredible and I don’t think I’ve ever had a better quesadilla than I had here today. WOW!

You may walk right by this small restaurant in Mount Pleasant--it's certainly unassuming, sitting between a few bigger restaurants and stores, across from the behemoth Don Juan. But you are doing yourself a disservice if you don't go inside! My friend and I had a delicious meal here Wednesday evening, for most of the time completely alone in the restaurant. It has a very cute interior with many twinkling lights and a cool kitchen counter too!We began with the chips and queso. The queso tasted like good stadium queso--not a complaint at all. The chips were next level! They tasted freshly fried and perfectly crispy.I ordered the combination platter and ADORED it. Every piece was scrumptious. The taco rocked. The pupusa rocked. The mini burrito rocked. And the tamale? Guess what, it rocked! The rice and beans were the perfect side to this filling and inexpensive dish. We ended the night with the flan, which was more egg custard-like in consistency than I had expected but delicious nonetheless. Our waitress was so kind--she didn't speak much English, so I got to flex my embarrassing high school Spanish. Luckily I know the Spanish word for dessert!I'll be back here many times to dine in and to take out. And I better see you all there!!!

Blue mold is growing in my dessert that I just received via Door Dash. I called the restaurant to let them know so they can check/pull the others before another customer received a bad product. The lady on phone replied, by telling me that they sealed the package beforehand and that she checked the remaining servings and they didn’t have mold. So what? The driver grew the mold on the drive over????Next time, just apologize and thank me for calling you to give a heads up…mistakes happen but your response earned this poor review online rather than you accepting a courtesy phone call and me leaving it at that.

Delicious, flavorful food! Probably the best veggie burrito I've had in a while, as the filling was really tasty and well-seasoned. They had a bunch of other stuff on the menu that looked great, so I'll definitely be back to check out some of the other options. Laid back vibe, friendly service--you can't go wrong.

Everything here was good and cozy: the service, the food, the fellow diners. I recommend trying one of the Salvadorian platters to taste a bit of everything on the menu. It's not distinct but it's clearly a special spot for folks in the neighborhood and run with care.
