The food is insanely good . Every dish we ordered was prepared to perfect quality . The lasagna was rich and amazing and not smothered with cheese . The grilled whole chicken is so tender and the sauce is rich. The lobster pasta was so good too. Highly highly recommended by my family and my 3 teenagers .

Been here a few times before. Really dropped off. Cauliflower was like average bar snack. Lasagna was sweet and dried out in edges and too heavy on truffle. Pasta ok but small for price (carbonara and papardelle). Had to send back carbonara with hard yolk on top. One appetizer was not even brought. Drinks were small and weak. Service was really bad, especially considering automatic 20% tip. Waited almost 25 minutes for check after all food was done and we said we did not want dessert. Shame, used to be quite good.

Duck hunt and Arancini are ok, and I don’t like Lasagna. There was not much service, but they charged 20% by default before

Everything we had was delicious. The portions are a little small though and pricey for the amount you get. If you get the "risotto" as a meal be warned it is definitely not enough lol. The gnocchi with the black truffle was delicious though I wish it came with a protein. The steak was amazing as well. A bit pricey at $135 for one steak though. The best thing I think we had was the duck ravioli. Definitely a must try. The dessert flambe wasn't my thing, I don't line tiramisu and it tasted of alcohol so yeah.

Unforgettable Anniversary Celebration at L’ardenteI recently had the pleasure of celebrating our anniversary with a lunch at L’ardente, and it was an extraordinary culinary journey from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was inviting, and we were warmly greeted by the staff. Our waiter, Gaudencio, deserves special recognition for his impeccable service throughout the afternoon. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure our anniversary celebration was nothing short of perfect. Now, onto the food – each dish we ordered exceeded our expectations. The pasta was cooked to perfection, with flavors that danced on the palate. The personal pizza with Merguez toppings was a delightful blend of fresh ingredients and melted cheese, leaving us craving for more. And the fried calamari was a true standout, incredibly delicious and wonderfully fresh, showcasing the restaurant’s commitment to quality. Additionally, the cocktails Gaudencio made were spectacular. As we enjoyed our anniversary lunch at L’ardente, every moment felt special and memorable. The combination of exceptional food, attentive service, and inviting atmosphere made for an unforgettable experience. Whether you’re celebrating a milestone or simply looking for an extraordinary dining experience, I highly recommend L’ardente. You won’t be disappointed.

Mind absolutely blown: the pasta dishes are exceptional, especially the white ragu, pomodoro and cacio pepe...all with truffles. The truffle aroma was so fresh and was well worth the price of admission. Can't wait to try it again!

Everything was very good. Family friendly and having both pizza and pasta options was a plus compared to other modern Italian restaurants. Definitely recommend.

We had L'Ardente delivered and it was delicious. I now have a slight obsession with their 40-layer lasagna. We also had arancini, grilled artichoke, ravioli, sausage ragu, gianduja s'mores, and spiced. Nothing disappointed. Highly recommend if looking for upscale Italian.

?? ? L’Ardente - an Italian restaurant in the DC Capitol area is delicious. I give it an 8.8/10.The hithlights:Duck hunt - so creamy & delicious. I wish the cups were bigger. I wanted más!Hamachi Crudo - the mix of sweet and savory was a delicious bite! I wanted more!Lasagna - it was nice and rich with lots of meat. The sauce was deep. I would have loved more cheese. It was a little too salty for me.Gianduja S’mores - the combo was perfect! We especially loved the candy bar caramel and graham cracker.Cheesecake Di Ricotta - it was perfect and not too sweet! The good:Arancini - simple & delicious, especially the Calabrian Chile oil and tomato sauce.Cesare (Caesar salad) - simple & delicious.Cacio E Pepe - simple and delicious. The pasta was a little too al dente for me.Tiramisu Flambé - beautiful presentation. The dark chocolate was a little too bitter for me.I would skip:Carbonara - the pasta was too al dente for my taste and the pancetta & pecorino were too chewy and salty. The dish as a whole was a little too salty for my taste.Price:About $100/person after gratuity and tax.We really enjoyed it & will be going again~!! ?️?

Absolutely beautiful. From the food, to the service… I live about two hours away and have been here multiple times, often the trip just for this. This place should be on its way to a Michelin star in my opinion. My jaw always drops when it’s here. I wish I could personally hug the chef.

I really wanted to enjoy this place. I spent some time researching restaurants that stood out and made reservations accordingly. We arrived on time for our reservation and were sat about 20 minutes after. The food was very meh. The service was below what I would have expected for the price point. Tables were not wiped down between courses, nor fresh plates or silverware exchanged. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting and there was a puddle of urine on the floor. The cherry on top was a patron dining behind us who had brought a portable ring light and was blinding everyone who was sitting behind her. The restaurant touted being Italian glam but this was our most disappointing restaurant of the trip. The vibe of the restaurant was very fun and if this was a club and not a restaurant that might have been sufficient.
