Has gone down over time.Absolutely awful service and absolutely awful tasteless food. Had us wait 30 mins to be seated. They act like they are a more upscale restaurant but they are not, just price gouging with worthless specials. No Taco Tuesday specials whatsoever.Fish tacos came cold and tough, quesadillas were also tasteless and hard. They put too much cilantro or something bitter in the shrimp taco. Just horrible.Save yourself time and money and go somewhere else. There are plenty other way better tasting Mexican restaurants in DC.I was so disappointed and embarrassed because I had brought my friend from out of town here. She didn't enjoy the food at all.Only good takeaway was that the Margaritas are great. But overall they need to work on hiring better cooks and wait staff.

I had the worst experience at this restaurant on 4/13/24. After making a 630pm reservation for 14, upon arrival 15 minutes early, we were told that the table was not ready, that it world be another 10 minutes. Forty minutes and 2 check- ins later, we were taken to an area just up the steps and on the main level. There we saw 3 square tackle that could, possibly seat 4 people, with one pertain on each side. However, the setting they provided was 2 people per side (utilizing only 2 sides of each table), since the tables were joined to make a larger table. Additionally, there were only 13 chairs and we setting. I need to add here that one of these tables had 5 chairs.I called for the manager and the person who was in charge of seating came by. I told him my concern. He, without empathy or remorse stated either I accept it as is or wait another ro minutes. I made him aware that a reservation was made and that I had already waited 40 minutes for a table. He was very non-chalant.I went to the host table and requested a manager. I told her the situation and she used the radio to request the manager. Soon after an employee came and said that only the floor supervisor was there. I told her that I was informed that there was a manager by the host. She then preceded to talk Spanish to the host.My opinion here is that quantity (having a full house) was more imputation than quality (provide A1 service to customers). There was nothing spacious about the seating. Everyone was packed in like sardines in a can. Even food that was being served was touching places or shouldn't be touching (stairs, and,other people's body parts) because of the limited space between seats and people.My 13 guests and I left. Never going back there.

Parking wasn’t bad, but I might have gotten lucky. Worst case scenario, you park a 4-5 minute walk away.Was sat immediately. The place is HUGE. Don’t think that it’s not worth going if you don’t have a reservation.By huge, I mean 3 expansive floors, an outdoor seating area, and an indoor rooftop deck.I sat with a friend at the table furthest from the rooftop entrance. Cool view of the strip outside, and close to the bar.The food and drinks came out alarmingly fast. I had the crab and shrimp quesadilla, which quite literally came out in 4-5 minutes.The quesadilla had a good meat to cheese ratio (40:60) and was portioned well. It wasn’t soggy, which a lot of quesadillas have problems with, and paired well with the tomatoes, jalapeños and guacamole that came on the side. 10/10The chips and salsa that came on the house were standard. The chips could use seasoning, and the salsa was the watery type, which isn’t my favorite. 5/10The strawberry daiquiri was delicious- light, flavorful and fresh. 10/10The lemonade (with lime added) receives the same regards. Fresh, the right amount of tartness and sweetness. 10/10My friend’s review stats:Quesadilla- 8/10Margarita on the rocks- 10/10Chips and warm salsa- 9/10Service was efficient.

We waited over an hour to get our food while other people who got there AFTER us got theirs. The food was not that great & the service was terrible. We had to ask the waitress twice about our food & it seemed like she got annoyed the second time we asked, mind you, it's been over an hour ! Definitely would not be coming back here especially since there are better places with better service out here.
