Decided to try this place to pick up a taco as Las Gemelas closed. As it turns out, the low rating is deserved/accurate.“Ghost” kitchen which is fine but the taco was underwhelming, especially given it was $6. Homemade corn tortilla served cold, chewy carne asada meat lacking in flavor and probably low quality. Avocado cream/salsa was unremarkable.Positives: Order was made correctly as I requested no jalapeño. Order was ready for pick up on time. Will not return. Do not recommend.

Did not realize this was a ghost kitchen when ordering delivery. The food arrived on time but was horrible. Soaked in grease and small portion sizes. Not going back

They hosted food truck night at my apt complex. I Didn’t even get food! Ordered 30 min ahead and when I arrived was told it would be 10 min—fine. After10-15 min was told 2 min—fine. After 10 -15 more min no food! I just left—ridiculous service. And then never even got notification through toast that the order was ready! I even emailed the email they have plastered on their receipt and the responses here for a refund and no response. Will not attempt to give business again.

So first, the food is definitely fine! Unfortunately just for what it is, a ghost kitchen/pick up - 3 tacos for $20 just doesn’t check any kind of box when the tacos are just pretty good. Too many fast casual places for far less in the area. Service was fast/albeit a little strange.

I just called this place to let them know that they delivered me inedible, stale, tasteless tres Leche cake and their response was since I ordered with uber eats that I would need to call them. Not even am apology. I let them know that I wasn't calling them for a refund but to leave a complaint that I don't appreciate paying $9 for something so awful I was forced to throw it away. Their response then was to hang up on me. Only reason I gave them 2 stars for food is cause their tacos were okay. Tres leches cake though- don't touch it!

Purchased 3 birria tacos on 2/8/24 around 2:00 pm. Picked up a few minutes before the stated time in the email and wow. I slid through the alley to get there and pay $20 for 3 tacos that were room temperature and light on the meat. To add insult to injury, the consommé has zero meat in it. I think the hype of the use “ghost kitchen” got this place way more business than they’d get if folks knew about the poor quality of food, inaccessible entrance, and meager portions. 3 outta 10 do not recommend.

You order ahead on their website for pickup. Once you arrive at a minimalist metal door with almost no indication there is a legitimate business on the other side, you call their number to indicate you've arrived. Within seconds a person opens the door and hands you a bag. You're not sure if it's food or a kilo of a controlled substance.I ordered a vegetarian mushroom burrito loaded with greens and a green salsa. The tortilla feels homemade and whatever aioli they included with the burrito may not be traditional, but it was delicious. It felt like a taco speakeasy. I will be going back to try everything on their menu.

Ordered a bowl and all of the rice was hard and burnt as if it was the last bits of rice scraped from the bottom of the pot. To top it off I found what looks to be a hair in my food. I spent $35 and I’m very dissatisfied.

This location threw me off. I usually go to the Brentwood location but opted for this one. I didn't realize it wasn't an actual brick and mortar until I pulled up, so you have to outside for your order. I ordered a fiesta box for 4, and it took much longer to get the order out than expected. Then I ordered agua frescas on the app that weren't available and hadn't been available at that location for a while! I was definitely annoyed but I knew the food was going to be good so I didn't make a huge fuss. Now the food? Always a hit! We got grilled chicken quesotacos and birria tacos, and opted for the chicken tinga burrito. The fries were okay. I wish there was an option to get the dressings on the side so they don't get soggy. Their consumé is delicious and I used it for everything. Show me a birria consumé that isn't on the salty side and I'll give you a $1 Tip: when ordering, there's a section at the bottom for extras like SALSAS, guac, sour cream, and more. Please use it. The salsas are no additional charge. I got to try the cucumber lime mint for the first time and it was good, so I'm glad they didn't have what I originally wanted or I wouldn't have given this flavor a try. Some of my favorites from the other Little Miner that you should definitely give a try: -chicken tinga Crunchwrap -loaded fries -nacho box -all the quesotacos

Hey there, lil' miner! The party box for 2 at $51 (really $60+ with tax and tip) is arguably the worst deal in DC but for some reason I can't get enough of this gut box. I just want to know the economics of that box but I also think I'd get angry. They certainly have minimal overhead considering it's located in a dark alley where you're really trapped in a bad situation if danger appears because you can only get out the same way you come in. The thrill makes it taste better. On to the food - Loaded fries - yes. Super tasty. Slightly potato-y on the fries but really no complaints. 9/10 American burrito - come on. The rice is always undercooked but I see other people say that so I just assume it's on purpose. It's messy, falls apart and sits like a log in your stomach. 10/10 Tacos - chicken Tinga is OK. Birria is good, albeit salty. 7/10 It also comes with two drinks! A bag of chips and some salsa would be a nice addition. As others have said, you knock on the door and wait. If they don't answer the door, you call the number which they definitely won't answer. Honestly, just wait outside because you're in their world now. I'll be back soon to risk my life for this 7,000 calorie box.

Little Miner is a delicious option in the Noma neighborhood. Very much a grown up Taco Bell vibe with menu options. Order ahead on the Toast app (you also get points for rewards). This location is only for take out/delivery; there is no seating. Birria questotacos are out of this world. Make sure to dip in the consomme. I have also had the chicken crunchwrap and carne asada loaded fries burrito - both delicious. This is my go-to when I have friends over and we want a good pick up meal.
