Food was amazing I order the Hot tiger bun (per the menu description: HOT AF fried chicken sandwich); for me it wasn’t very spicy (but I have a high tolerance), so I order hot sauce on the side.It was delicious, also ordered the curry fries.The service was a bit slow and our server didn’t come to check on us much. But good, drinks, and view were amazing.

The service was rlly slow. Waited for an hour for our food, they had brought out appetizers and burgers at the same time after we had asked if we could get it after. The burgers were mid honestly shake shack is better for that price. The hurricane or whatever it’s called wasn’t good either sadly v bitter. The only thing we liked was the lucky sauce. Wouldn’t recommend for the price.

Located right by the riverfront, it is an ideal location with a nice indoor space and patio.They are known for multiple types of burgers that are quite filling. Their Bogan burger was quite delicious, and my friend tried the Hot Tiger burger (which wasn't as spicy as she hoped).They provide thick-cut fries that are well-cooked and crispy and should be shared among 2 people. We tried the Irish Curry fries, which tasted more like a Japanese curry and I'm not sure where the Irish came from.They also have delicious drinks that aren't too sweet and pack a punch. We had the Huracan and Butlers Melagroni. We wish we had visited during Happy Hour (12-6, 11pm+) to enjoy a crush, but perhaps on a future visit.The service was subpar. We decided to sit on the patio, and while the food came out fast, for a non-busy night, our server rarely checked in on us, never provided water refills, and it was difficult to get their attention.

Fantastic chicken burgers especially the Hot Tiger Bun. Tasted consistent with the Union Market location which is where I had these first. I also really liked the food catered at an office event here as well. Very good variety/taste / service! Only wish they had more veggie burger/sandwich options without the 4$ surcharge for the substitution.

I ordered the Bogan Bun with fries. One order of fries was enough for 3 people. The food was average. Everything about this place was average. I wouldn't suggest this place, but if a friend wanted to go I wouldn't say no.

If only I could give this place a zero. Went there on a Sunday night with two other people. Had just arrived in DC after a long drive and had no idea where to go, so we wandered in the direction of the Wharf and stumbled across Lucky Buns.Went to the hostess and asked for a table for three. I noticed a person who appeared to be the manager standing there who looked around but then didn’t say anything. The hostess sat us. Before I sat down I noticed that my chair was covered in what looked like the remnants of a hamburger roll. Not just a few crumbs…covered. I cleaned it off and sat down. The table was sticky and dirty. The menus were sticky and dirty.They have gender-neutral bathrooms. Bad idea because their bathrooms don’t have urinals and some among us can’t aim to save our lives. The first bathroom had a toilet with a seat that was COVERED in urine. Covered. The floor was soaked and the room stank of urine. Quick exit. Enter the next one where the seat is covered in urine, but at least can be cleaned up. But it still stinks. Think of the gas station bathrooms where they give you the key and you go around to the back of the building. That dirty, but nicely decorated.The server was pleasant and friendly but had no idea what they were doing. Had to ask to order. Had to ask for silverware. Ordered and asked for ketchup. Food came…No ketchup. Food just got dropped on the table by the expeditor. No asking if we needed anything else. No chance to ask for ketchup. Finally got ketchup, but never saw anyone again until I needed the check.The food. Wow. I got the El Jefe burger. It was supposed to have green chili relish, Catina crema, yellow mustard “shrettuce,” red onion, and pickle. It might have had all those things but I wouldn’t know because the burger was drowned in mustard. That’s all I could taste. I couldn’t even taste the beef.Then we get the check. Every bill has a 4.9% fee added to it. They call it a “2024 surcharge” which is in lieu of raising prices. Heads up Honey Buns…if you’re tacking on a 4.9% fee to every order, then you are raising prices.Dirty dining area, disgusting bathrooms, lousy food, bad service, and an additional 4.9% fee, that apparently doesn’t go toward fixing any of those shortcomings. Bottom line: Stay away. There are so many other options.

Came here to try the Hot Tiger Bun from a friend's recommendation. It did not disappoint. Wasn't as spicy as I hoped for, but still very flavourful. Very different kind of spices from the usual Nashville Hot Chicken, but I like it! The chicken sandwich doesn't come with any sides so we ordered the Cajun fries to share. Huge portion, fries were thick cut and very tasty. Overall we had a good time here, will have to visit and try something else on their menu.

Food was mid. Server screwed up and did not even place order for one of our entrees so had to wait 10 min for that to come out. No discount but a 5% surcharge. It’s ok but wouldn’t go back.

Burgers are GREAT, breakfast plate not - especially the sausage. Service was terrible. Table of 8. They forgot to make one of the meals, forgot to bring a kids drink and had to ask for it 3 or 4 times. Everyone had their food except the person whose meal was left out before the kid got their OJ. One of the burgers was put in wrong (single vs normal) which didn't even show on the limited lunch menu at the time. The people that bus tables don't do drink refills and we had empty glasses several times on iced tea.The icing on the cake was it was cold and windy. The clear plastic on patio at our table was down and we asked if they could put the ones at end we were close to down also. They asked manager/supervisor and he said no, they all need to be up, ours also. After we asked, a table at the end we were asking to have put down also asked. They didn't. Then, the table right beside us asked also to have panel put down and were told no. As we were leaving, sure enough they put our panel up. There were 3 tables right in the same area saying it was cold out asking for the clear panels to go down and the response from the supervisor/manager was to put the one piece up that had been down blocking some of the wind up instead of down. I guarantee you every table there was not happy with them about that. Complete disregard for customer.Prices kind of high, to be expected for where it is. Food worth paying for but the service killed it. The bus staff need cross trained, they were just standing while waiting for stuff to clean/clear and could have gotten refills. The supervisor/manager not a people person. Wouldn't go back.
