Don't have anything negative to say. The food was good, the staff was happy, the atmosphere was positive. Family environment without being boring or pretentious.

Very bad experience, since I arrived they treated me badly, those who attended the bar looked at me and did not serve me!! I spend a lot of time getting attention. Then the innkeeper asked for something and they didn't bring me what it was. The dishes that we had already ordered were not removed from the table, the dishes were dirty and they were not removed. Very bad service and very bad experience

The manager, Johnaton, was excellent. Their fresh made guacamole, tacos and the churros are amazing. Definite must do when in DC. Metro stop, Gallery Place/Chinatown right across the street.

Everyone in my group got some sort of digestive issue the next day. Hygiene was not emphasized at all during our stay.

The food gave me and my friend diarrhea. We spent around $50 each, this is the last thing we expected should happen.

Rather pleasant surroundings and tasty food. Unfortunately 3 of us (we were a party of four), those who had tacos, ended up spending most of the following night on the toilets. Something was wrong that day, the least you should expect in this type of restaurant is a minimal level of hygiene.Kid-friendliness: Yes

We were there just before Thanksgiving, 2023 - this review is past due.We arrived late and the outside seating was closed. When we were told that we thanked them and started out. (We are still not eating inside at restaurants). The Maître d’ overheard that and asked us to wait. He went and conferred with someone else and they lead us to a private room. We were the only ones in the room, they opened the windows and voila - we were all set.The food was good, the service was excellent. They accommodated us and that meant more walking for the waitstaff and everyone else who served us while we were there.Service is a commodity and they showed they had it all.Thank you to each and everyone of them.

Delightful Brunch Experience with a ViewOver the weekend, our brunch experience was enhanced by the delightful combination of attentive service and a beautiful setting. While the overall cuisine was a solid 3 out of 5—tasty but not life-changing—the Citrus Tres Leches dessert stood out as the star of the show. The decision to make a reservation paid off, especially with our request for inside seating with a view of the Potomac, which was gracefully honored. The vista added an extra layer of enjoyment to our meal, and the ambiance of the restaurant made it a versatile spot for both casual and upscale dining.Nissa, our server, exemplified professionalism and warmth, ensuring our needs were met with a smile. The manager's visit to our table was a thoughtful gesture that showed a genuine interest in our dining experience. The location and the interior design of the restaurant itself are commendable. It’s a place where comfort meets elegance, allowing for a range of dress codes from jeans to something a bit more formal. We appreciated the flexible atmosphere that made us feel at ease.Opting out of parking at the Wharf, we found a spot a few blocks away, and the short walk on a beautiful day was not just manageable but enjoyable. This minor detail contributed to the overall positive experience of our visit. In conclusion, the combination of good food, great service, and the serene setting by the Potomac makes this restaurant a place worth revisiting. It’s the kind of establishment you return to not only for the dishes but for the entire experience. I eagerly anticipate my next visit and would recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant brunch spot.

Brunch was excellent. When it was time to pay, the bill could not be split. Possibly mention this prior to ordering.

Restaurant is facing waterfront area. Great ambience. We are vegetarian, FYI they do not substitute or add any veggies on request. even like adding some veggies to a kids cheese quesadilla. Food was overall great drinks were good but not the service. Our server lacked patience, before we could finish she would leave, one of my family was asking something she was like " please let me talk first" at another instance we told her the salad was very sour, she kept asking do u mean spicy and then walked away stating we must not have a salad before usually Mexican salads are like this. I mean it just felt rude. Also we kept asking passing by servers excuse me to get their attention no one seem to be hearing us.
