Great location. Great atmosphere. Berries French Toast was delicious and highly recommended. Only problem was there was no decaf coffee, which concerned me because I can't drink caffeine. I was in a party of 7 and everyone was happy with their orders.

My husband and I decided to visit here for brunch. It was a Friday afternoon several tables seemed to be available however we sat about 30 minutes before the server greeted us like he wasn’t happy to be at work that day. Once our food arrived No silver ware napkins or condiments we literally had to flag him down to get the items that should have been brought out with our food. He never checked on us to see if anything else was needed not even another beverage even though my glass was empty. The food was ok. I may try a different location to see if the outcome is different. Had higher expectations.

Food was mostly salty and oily. Biscuit was good. Lavender lemonade was good too. Latte was at the rim and dripping when brought over towards the end of the meal. I was excited to try this place since we’re from the south and left disappointed

If it wasn't for the food, I'd probably give this place 1 star. Service here is slow and honestly confusing as hell. A kid's OJ took about 30 minutes... why? My table wasn't the only one having issues, literally saw a table walk out and they sat a family at that same table immediately, they didn't even clear the table before the new family was sat. Drinks came out one at a time, some drinks were wrong. It was a disaster until the food came out. Food was amazing, almost enough to make up for the bad service.... almost...

Went there yesterday on a Thursday for lunch. Horrendous service. So bad that it ruined everything else. ~10 mins for server to come over, she takes our orders. Food didn’t take that long, I ordered the ribeye and eggs, to be scrambled with cheese. No cheese. Ordered tater tots with meal because the menu just said steak and eggs, come to find out it comes with grilled potatoes already and the server doesn’t tell us this when I order… absolutely baffling. Steak comes out, no steak knife. Wait another 15 mins for steak knife that she forgot to bring after flagging her down, by then my steak is already cold. No refill on iced tea. When I finally did get a refill, gave me sweet tea the second time. If I had paid, I wouldn’t have left much and would’ve called over a manager quick because the service was just that bad and ruined our meal. It’s just too bad that I didn’t have a chance to pay and someone else picked up the tab. I’d say the server got lucky and received an undeserving 20% or more tip on no service and lack of menu knowledge or common sense in providing basic service. Never again.

Southern comfort food with a New Orleans twist is how I would describe the food at Milk & Honey. The Lavender Lemonade is a must try. It's so refreshing. The butter glazed biscuits will leave you wanting more. I also now understand why the shrimp and grits carries the 'famous' title; so flavorful and very memorable!

My husband and I came from out of town to celebrate our anniversary and decided on Milk & Honey for dinner. The food was unbelievably delicious, best fried chicken I have ever had.The service however, was a bit disorganized. They are definitely understaffed, we had a reservation for 7 and got seated at 7:30.There were many tables available and ready, but again could not be seated due to the lack of staff. Once seated we had the hostess, bartender & another server come introduce themselves as our waiter within minutes of being seated. Honestly, that was no issue for us. Everyone did their best to make sure our needs were met. Overall, I would say a dinner was delightful and if you can be patient and understanding that they may need a few extra minutes to get to you, you will have a lovely time.

This was our first time at milk and honey and we had a great experience! We sat at the bar, unfortunately we didn’t get the bartenders name but she had orange locs and was a major contribution to us enjoying our time. The food took a little long but definitely worth the wait. Great food and great ambiance thanks!

Pros, food was very good. I had berry french toast.. The french toast was delicious, only had a few blueberries and strawberries. My girlfriends had the Salmon on hash, shrimp grits, Brussel sprouts and buffalo and ranch crispy shrimp… they says they dishes tasted great as well.Cons, horrible, horrible, horrible service. The young ladies who greeted us did well… but from there on out was so wrong…we had to wait a long time for our waiter, he just kept wondering off, take long to return and not bring us anything we needed. Food eventually came out but we had no utensils, we asked and still had to ask different workers, until we finally got them from another waiter. I could just go on and on about are experience..Other than the service the food was very good. I would love to eat something else off the menu when I visit again but it would have to be a takeout order.

From start to finish the experience was AMAZING! Visited from Charlotte & was suggested this place. We were greeted & within 5 mins and were immediately sat. Dennis was a great waiter & the whole team dynamic across the restaurant was on point. To see management also in play on the floor to help the team with no problems & with a smile on her face. The bartenders did the mimosas we ordered to perfection! Will definitely visit again & suggest those in the city head down. You won’t be disappointed!

This was my first time eating here. There was about a 30 min wait. It was well worth it, though. Nice chill vibe, great scenery inside and out. I will most definitely return. Food was seasoned well, and serving sizes was normal.

I am a native. My brother and sis in love were in town visiting from Florida to lay his dad to rest, which we did yesterday. Today he wanted to take my daughters and I out for breakfast/brunch. He was giving his niece the option to pick out restaurants. Leave it up to her we would be eating IHOP.? So I gave her two options, and of the two options Milk and Honey at the wharf was the choice... and Baaaaaabyyyy... they did NOT disappoint. Aaron our waiter was AWESOME! He was the one who made the suggestions on some appetizers once he found out that we were first timers. One of his suggestions were the honey butter biscuits... OH MY GODFATHER!!! LISTEN... The way these biscuits melted in our mouths? JESUS!! THEY HAD TO HAVE ANGELS back there needing the dough ok! These biscuits were SOOO good, that we HAD to order more. Then they had the nerve to bring our food out.... WHY, WHY GOD? THIS FOOD WAS SINFULLY DELICIOUS!!! NO exaggerating. I never give reviews... EVER, however I could not let this go. I had the biscoff waffles and chicken. They give the option of white meat(wings), or dark meat(thighs) I chose the thighs and they were CLEANED and fried to perfection!! My brother had the French Toast which was GINORMOUS! Fluffy and delightful. Speaking of, my waffle....MAN OH MAN... AIRY AND FLUFFY!! I could go on, and on... We came on a Saturday. They told us we'd have a 35-45 min wait, however it was only about 10 minutes. Which was worth it. My sister in love order the honey old bay wings and crushed them, my daughter had plain pancakes, eggs, and bacon, and the bacon is REAL bacon!! Not those flimsy greasy straps of whatever the OTHER breakfast spots serve. This bacon was the REAL DEAL!! Overall we give this Milk and Honey a 10 out of 10... definitely RECOMMEND!Parking: In the parking garage for one hour was $11 I think. We were there for about 2hours our parking voucher was $24.
