I attended a Sunday brunch that was curated specifically for a group of 25 ladies. It was a pleasure to patronize a woman minority- owned establishment in Adams Morgan. Straight forward bar menu of fried foods, but the wings, calamari and truffle fries stood out for me. Will definitely be back to enjoy the Sunday Bottomless mimosa brunch. Great atmosphere and music, the bathrooms were CLEAN, and the staff were welcoming and capable. Drinks were flavorful and reasonably priced for the area. I will definitely be back.Vegetarian options: Excellent options for acai bowls and whole fruit smoothies, veggie options for the quesadilla as well

Josh the bartender is amazing! Our food took long he basically went back there and made it himself, while managing the whole place for brunch. He was the only bartender but still catered to our needs, efficiently. He's such a sweetheart and moved here for Mixxed. He's the best!

Great service! Over priced food. Not worth the price the pictures online was deceiving. The NY chopped cheese steak was not impressive two table spoons of meat if that very dry full of lettuce and mostly bread. Fries were good but not worth the price. Drink was very weak good flavor, over priced and an added 2.00 for flavors. Fruit bowl was fresh, over priced. paid 68.00 not satisfied at all. I would give the food and prices -5 stars. Unless you like to waste your money you should go. I added tip for the service definitely not the food.

I came to Mixxed after seeing a post about it in a DMV Facebook group. It came highly recommended for brunch. It is a cozy space with a bar and eating area, two restrooms (gender neutral) but there is an upstairs event space and a downstairs space as well I was told. Minority owned which is a big plus for me! They'll be adding in minority and women owned spirits as well, so I'll be looking forward to that! Brunch was pretty daggone good! We tried the shrimp and grits, and the chicken & waffles with fruit, as well as the French toast. The French toast was the best in our opinion. Perfectly cooked, no soggy bits, and only left me wanting more! The shrimp and grits were good, but could have been seasoned more. The creole sauce and the shrimp on the grits were delish and perfectly prepared. We also had sangria, mimosas, and Bellini's all included in their $45 bottomless brunch menu. I'll definitely be back! Oh and a great touch were the table top games to keep yourself entertained while you wait for your food and beverages! Great playlist and good vibes. Very friendly service, prompt, and attentive!

I went to Mixxed DC for brunch on Sunday January 14th. Mixxed restaurant is two months old, it opened back in November of 2023, restaurant is black-owned as well as woman owned. The restaurant is in the historic Adams Morgan vibrant location. Upon, entering the restaurant you have to go upstairs to the restaurant from outside, and the restaurant door will be to your left. I didn't see an accessible way for someone that can't take the stairs to the restaurant. The restaurant is small, love the ambiance of place especially the restrooms that were clean. Saturdays and Sundays live DJ spinning. I ordered a smash burger that had only American cheese on it & ketchup, along with fries. My friend also ordered a smash burger as well along with mozzarella sticks. I would definitely come back to visit.

Cool new spot, a Black owned business that is making a name for themselves in ADMO. A bonus is that they have $6 margs all night. Pretty good pricing on food too, they're bringing NY to DC--try their chopped cheese!! They have bar seating and games throughout the location. Our server Josh (manager) was on point, and was willing to answer any questions. Karakoke begins at 8pm on Friday's, and drink specials are all night on karaoke nights.

Excellent happy hour margs and delicious wings! Service was great and the place is so well decorated, cozy, and cute. I will def come back for their new bottomless brunch and for another happy hour. The music was also a great mix (old school r&b, afrobeats, top 40, and pop). This place will blow up soon!!
