What a hidden gem! I was in the area and looking for a place to grab lunch. Decided on Momo's Cafe based on all the fantastic reviews it has received and it did not disappoint. Parking was a bit hard to find, but luckily we found some street parking not too far away. Stepped into this small, cute cafe and we were warmly greeted by the staff. Placed our order and waited not more than 10 min before our food arrived at our table. We ordered the bento box and a side of popcorn chicken. All of it was delicious. The pickled cabbage was a great accompaniment. I also got a milk tea to wash it all down and I was fully satisfied with my entire meal.

Can't say about the food because I haven't tried it. I tried ordering food for a friend with terminal cancer. This will be her last Christmas with her family and this is her favorite restaurant. I couldn't find any apps that would deliver to my friend's house. I'm outside the US so I cannot deliver the food myself. I called the restaurant asking if they knew any apps that would deliver to my friend's house, or whether they would make an exception and deliver the order considering the special circumstance. They said no, which is absolutely fine, after all they are under absolutely no obligation to do it. However, what really bothered me was how they said it. The lady on the phone sounded annoyed that I was even asking, and told me to put in an order for pickup, basically ignoring what I had just told her. She then hung up on me. There was absolutely no empathy or sympathy with my friend's situation. Again, I haven't tried the food, and based on this experience, never will. I hope this person was just having a bad day and she's not really like this.

Not that great. I ordered the popcorn chicken box and it was worse than a frozen tv dinner. I traveled from Arlington, VA to try this place and I wished I went somewhere else.

I'm visiting DC for my first time and decided to try Momo's as my first restaurant in the area. It set a great tone for my trip. The braised pork, which is flavorful and soft, and hakkaido milk tea are outstanding and true to Taiwanese cuisine. I didn't like the Taiwanese sausage quite as much, but the popcorn chicken left a better impression. All this considered along with the prices being around par for what you get makes this an easily recommendable restaurant for those looking for authentic Taiwanese food.

Food was tasty, portion was good but the steak was little hard or over cooked. Service was very quick and friendly. Adorable interior and exterior decoration. Cute place to have quick lunch dates.

Moldy lemon found in boba is absolutely disgusting! And a definite health hazard. Tried to get at least a refund no response. Absolutely careless and foul!

This is my first time leaving one star comment. My friends drove all the way from baltimore and we suggested this dinner. Once we get here, it was full. The owner told us to go out for 15 minutes and then come back. It was rainy very heavy outside, and we are all wet from walking in the rain. We waited for 40 minutes for the food. At the end, we ordered the icecream, we waited another 15 minutes and asked the owner if she get our order. She says they are too busy to make it so she suggests us to cancel it. The whole dining experience is horrible, and i just can't believe such a high rating restaurant, the owner can be such rude to their customers. Like they don't care.

I recently celebrated my friend’s birthday here and I couldn’t be more impressed with the experience. The staff went above and beyond to make it a memorable celebration. When I mentioned it was my friend’s birthday, they not only surprised us with a beautifully decorated ice cream dessert but also changed the background music to the birthday song. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made the celebration even more special. The food was outstanding, showcasing the flavors of Taiwan in every dish. We indulged in a variety of dishes, each bursting with authentic taste and freshness.Highly recommend Momo’s Cafe for anyone looking for delicious Taiwanese cuisine and a welcoming atmosphere!
