NOT TODDLER FRIENDLY. Vibes are off.Is this a fancy upscale restaurant where you experience a quiet atmosphere, enjoy a duck confit quesadilla (it was ok) and have to make a reservation (they turned away 3 parties when we were sitting at the bar and there were open table.. clearly a mismanaged house or kitchen.OR is this a place to pop in for a pint and a burger after playing tennis or kicking a soccer ball around the park next door?The restaurant is not sure. Neither were we.We guessed it was a pop in place. I wish they had just said “no kids at the bar” or something instead of letting me and my husband and our two kids sit down.No crayons or stickers or anything for kids, though there were Elmo’s around the place and it was decorated with some cool vintage toys.At one point the manager or someone told *me* that my kids (2 and 4) need to “stay in their seats”And that my toddler curiously walking up to another kid at another table was “not appropriate” (there was another toddler also walking around… )Oh and he told me this lol when my *husband* was walking around the restaurant with my kids. Always blame the moms! #patriarchyWill not be going back.Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly

Pleasant atmosphere, good service, and a nice selection of draft beers. The menu includes some appetizers, sandwiches/burgers, salads, and some entrees. The sandwiches can come with fries, tots, or a side salad. The chopped salad looked good, the shrimp and grits looked nice as well. I had the chicken sandwich, which was pretty good. I hear the Shrimp and Grits are also good.Update: the selection of beers regularly rotates, and still features some local beers, with a nice variety.
Quick service, friendly staff, nice ambiance, food is good too. Just wish they had more options. Recommend going

We discovered Moreland’s during the pandemic, and it has come to represent a safe space for us to enjoy good food close to home. Delicious food, good drinks and great ambience. When in doubt, it’s Moreland’s when we’re out.

We ordered spaghetti with sausage and a vegan burger. Both were delicious and the wine I ordered, Pinot Noir, was light-bodied and good. The prices were very reasonable. The waiter was courteous. The outdoor seating was the way wanted. Overall, a good eating experience. Will go there again!
