Visited during dinner time on a Saturday and the place was empty. Should have taken that as a sign to turn around and leave. The staff has no interest or idea how to help customers. It’s almost like they don’t know their own menuWould not visit this location ever again. Go elsewhere. The food is like more interesting take-out quality. The peas are tasty. Skip the Mac and cheese, not good. The rice based dishes are good as well.

Skip this Nando’s. Service was terrible. Ice maker broke had to walk upstairs. Waited over 30 minutes for food. After asking was told another 15 minutes. Staff couldn’t be bothered. Wasn’t even busy. Thought I was in the twilight zone. Requested a refund and left.

I don’t know why this place has a 4.2 rating, me and my friends are 6 weeks pregnant and our husbands drove us all the way from New York to satisfy our craving to find out their food gave us food poisoning. The chicken was completely burnt nothing had flavor. Utterly dissatisfied.

Ordered sangria, 15 minutes in they said that they are “out of brandy” took them 10 minutes to refund. Wanted a gelado but they were also out :(

Wasn’t busy when there but watched my food get cold on the counter. When the lazy employee finally grabbed my food he stopped in the middle of the restaurant to speak with two different parties before finally bringing my food. He was waving my bowl of chips around within 18 inches of these random people. What is funny is he was wearing a Covid mask but was okay putting my food in the face of other customers. Food 2/10. Service 0.01/10. Avoid! Chicken Rice Chips all cold.Went back again thinking it was just a bad day. Nope, just POS employees! Cold food, and slooowwwww service. AVOID at all costs.

Food was ok, but they got the order wrong, the lemonade was great, service needs to improve, unisex restrooms, one of them had a defective latch.

0/10.I don't give it a lower grade because I can't, because if not, I'd give it a -20.The treatment we received was terrible. The waiters work without enthusiasm and have a continuous lack of respect towards the customer. We ordered food and drinks at the same time. We waited 20 minutes for drinks to be served but nothing. We asked three times, and they said yes, they were bringing it now.More time passed and the food was served. Despite all this, the drink still did not appear. The manager came, an arrogant and very rude person. After arguing with this person, he deigned to bring the drink, but it turned out that THEY DID NOT HAVE WATER. In other words, a restaurant that doesn't have water? What kind of joke is this?A disastrous deal. The food without more, nothing out of this world. In the end, anyone knows how to make chicken... Too expensive for what they serve.I have eaten better things at street stalls.I wish I had never entered this place.

If you like chicken, get some from Nando’s. The Nandoca’s Choice sandwich was fire, and my wife loved her ranch crunch salad. The beans and rice were on point. The service wasn’t overly friendly, but when I’m getting takeout that’s less of a big deal. As long as my chicken sandwich made me smile, I’m good.

High quality and high value food for a low cost. Nandos should be everywhere in the U.S. They are Mozambique-style rotisserie that I was first introduced to in Zambia and South Africa. Delicious, perfectly moist chicken that you can get in 1/4, 1/2 or full chicken or a variety of cuts. Along the way they've introduced other specialties like salads and sandwiches. Top with a variety of peri-peri sauce from a mild herbaceous blend to a super hot version. Sides are okay but I am enthralled with the macho peas. The location is in the midst of DuPont circle. You order at the counter, they bring the food and tend to your table along the way. When we are unclear what we want in DC, Nandos is a go to.

I have been to Nando's in London which was much better in all aspects - atmosphere, service and food.Ordered online and some items were not delivered/out of stock. Got refound but had to initiate it myself.

Amazing chicken! All the sauces are gluten free, and so are the fries (chips). The hot sauces are so good!Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free

Despite my British friends' rave reviews, the chicken at Nando's fell short of expectations. The lack of seasoning left the chicken bland, relying solely on the sauce for flavor. Even with accompaniments like fries and garlic bread, the overall experience was underwhelming, lacking the flavorful punch one would expect, especially from a place known for its chicken.
