I placed my order, and it didn’t take long to receive my sandwich. Let me tell you, the Smoked Salmon BLT on rye was everything and more! I devoured the entire sandwich and felt disappointed when it was gone. The portion size left me very satisfied, the salmon had a nice smoked flavor, the bacon was crunchy, and the mixed greens and tomatoes were fresh. You definitely have to try this place.

When I say this place is FIRE! Everything we got was delicious! The smoked salmon sandwich, the avocado BLT with the sunflower flax bread, and the mussels! Come support this amazing black owned establishment! Plus the ambiance at Union Market can’t be beat!

The smoked salmon is shredded instead of sliced, the lettuce looks disproportionately stacked, but with the slightly sweet bacon and the sauce they put on the bread, it all works perfectly together. Get it on rye bread. This immediately became one of my go-to lunch spots.

Called DC location to inquire about a refund and got the run around. I was advised to call Baltimore location and was told I would receive a refund and when I called back no seem to no anything...

They know their page on GrubHub has the wrong store for DC. Yet the don't put a notice on it at all. Tried to call their phone several times to see why they don't have any food right when they open....
I’ve been coming here for 5+ years, and I can’t speak highly enough of the food. However, I had to come leave this rating because I bought my dog one of the smoked salmon treats today, and she has been up all night, incredibly sick. We’ve gone out at midnight, 2:00am and 5:00am. It definitely gave her food poisoning. PLEASE think about food safety for your furry customers too! I do NOT recommend buying the dog treats here - but the human food & service is fantastic. Just don’t want others to have this experience! I hope my dog is okay soon.

Ordered 2 Mustard Salmon Salads and went outside to eat with my friend. We both opened our trays and tried the fish which was very mushy and slimey. We've had this version of their fish and others before and never had that problem.We immediately went in and talk to the nice guy at the counter who said we could get it remade and choose a different fish.After relaying what happened to I guess the manger on duty he came back and told us that she wouldn't remake it.Wow. Ok. It's not his fault so I asked for a refund. I also asked what would be the difference if I got my refund and ordered again , she would still have to remake my meal?! He apologized and said I know and offered me that option.I decided to not waste anymore time and go elsewhere to eat,I've been going to here for years to this location and in Baltimore when in town and never had a problem before. I also recommend this establishment to clients and my business partners but that will definitely end. Loosing out on thousands of dollars to because you don't want to remake a meal sounds pretty stupid to me. There's nothing they can do to fix this. It was great while it lasted.

I'm just confirming the goodness!!Smoked mussels (hot) - Absolutely DIVINE, The smoked taste take these bad boys to another level that I can't describe. I squeezed lemon on them and they were scrumptious! OMG, a party in my mouth!You have to try these! Even after I finished them the taste lingered on my palate! I've had this place on my list for a few months and I was finally in the area so I decided to pop in for a smoked salmon blt and some mussels. I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious the mussels were. I've never had them smoked and now I don't want to eat them any other way. They were absolutely delicious and next time I'm going to get a whole dozen. The smoked salmon blt was also very good and I wasn't really sure what to expect since I'd never had it before but I was definitely satisfied with the presentation and the flavor. The service was fast, efficient and friendly. The union market was quite busy and it was almost impossible it to bump in to other people. I think next time I come during the week and not on a busy Saturday.
