My friend recommended this chocolate shop to me as some of the best chocolate you can get around here. As a chocolate lover, I had to check it out.It’s located in Union Station shops on the highest floor. The store itself is tiny and offers boxes as well as individual chocolates. I was a bit surprised at the small selection they had, but I guess they focus on quality over quantity. And let me tell you — after trying these chocolates, they live up to the hype. Layers of delicious chocolate, each with different textures to make each bite a full journey. The chocolates are often crafted with different flavors; for example the pink heart chocolate in my photo had a hint of rose, while the brown one had a hint of cherry.These chocolates are pretty pricey, but definitely worth it for an occasional treat. Boxes were like $50-$100. Highly recommend if you can afford it.I should note: they offered to sign me up for their free insider program upon my order. I did and they gave me some free chocolates for it. Seems like a great deal considering how expensive their chocolates are.

Visited here to shop for a Thank You gift to my best friend. Junior, who was working behind the counter, provided the best customer service ever! He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and patient as he took the time to help me put together a perfect box of hand-picked chocolates. Even offered a couple of pieces as samples which I fully enjoyed as they were just scrumptious! I ended up going over my budget a little, but it was all worth it! Can't wait to dive into the box I got for myself too. Hope to see Junior (or another wonderful staff working behind the counter) next time when I stop by.

Overall, the customer services is mediocre. This particular store often does not answer the phone or keep their listed hours...the chocolates themselves are somewhat over sweet, for my taste. I purchased the $78 incroiable buche. Don't waist your money. You are purchasing an unnecessary box with an item that has a dry bread base, minimal praline and fits in the palm of your hand. It is not decadent-moreso over rich in an attempt to create something decadent. Unfortunately I can't return. Most certainly wish I had invested my $80 otherwise. Will not bother with this store and will purchase Neuhaus as a last resort.I am a chocoholic and have eaten chocolates around the world throughout my travels. So the previous statements are based on yes, my palette; however, extensive exposure and experience also.

Such a first impression!As first time at the shop, I asked about each kind of chocolate. A male staff offered me a sample to taste. Then I asked about one kind that has liquor. He said “Only one sample per customer!”. I didn’t ask for any sample at the first place, just want to know what’s inside. Now I don’t want to know anything about this brand!

Favorite chocolates in the entire world, fortunate to have a store in Union Station. Stuff is decadent, with a price to match, value is good though. When they have sales I become the worst version of myself. Join their loyalty program and throughout the year they’ll pop up w/ a “Hey you, come in for some free chocolates!” email, that’s always a welcome message.

Staff was great and they let me try a few of the chocolates (for quality control of course). They really like their speculoos (biscoff) cookie flavors and recommended those when I asked.Everything was great and a perfect gift for friends

I was first introduced to Neuhaus Chocolates many years ago at Neiman Marcus and Burgdorf Goodman's. ( same ownership) I would have to say THE BEST CHOCOLATE IVE EVER HAD! I remember a white chocolate truffle filled with fluffy vanilla and a toffee bit on top (Mind blowing) Experience. I recently found a Neuhaus Chocolates on Massachusetts Ave in D.C. and plan on stopping by when in D.C. Treat yourself, it's worth it!

My cousin and I visited this store yesterday evening while waiting for our train. My cousin wanted to buy chocolates for his mom since Valentine’s Day was arriving soon. The gentleman who helped us I believe was named Alberto, because our receipt said so. He was by far the best store employee I’ve ever encountered anywhere. He is a great salesman! So incredibly informative and knowledgeable of every product which sold us, without him actually being pushy about it. He was very knowledgeable about the business, and seemed genuinely loyal to this company, constantly praising and promoting it. It was evident he wasn’t trying to Persuade us on anything, but instead educate us on all there was to enjoy! He seemed genuine. He seemed pleasant. He seem authentic. He seemed just happy to be there. As a young business owner, I wish I had employees like this! Please give this guy a raise! He made our whole trip. Nicest and most down to earth person we met. The store was so clean. The products are amazing! That’s how a business should be! That’s the kind of people that makes companies profitable.
Aww the guy Alberto who works here was a gem , he was so patient with my questions and also gave me a sample when my niece accidentally dropped hers , now regarding the chocolates I would say they are expensive but I would still try it out especially the Cornett ones , they were delicious. Plenty of variety and choices to choose from.

Less than two days ago, I purchased some chocolate from Neuhaus Belgian Chocolate inside the union station metro of Washington D.C. The employees I interacted with had pleasant demeanors and I ordered and enjoyed some of the following treats: Truffle Speculoos cheesecake chocolates, some truffle waffle chocolate pieces with a seduction chocolate piece (lists to have nougatine handfilled with raspberry fresh cream).
