Food is always amazing, but service is slow even though the restaurant was not busy. It takes awhile to get going but once the server puts in the order, the expo runs the food to us and does so when the food is hot. This was our third or fourth time and the first time was great, but every other time has been the same as our last time.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at New Heights, as always. Great kids menu! Highly recommend tuna poke tacos, pork belly buns as appetizers and steak medallions are absolutely amazing! Cherry whiskey sour if you want something sweet, it's almost like a liquid desert. Perfect! Thank you!

Excellent unusual food in a quite comfortable unhurried atmosphere. Choose the banquet seating . Pricey but worth it. Good for conversation . Lighting cd be improved . We will definitely become regulars . Attractive outdoor seating .

A delightful discovery. Excellent food. Service a bit rushed as it was a Friday evening and the dining room was full. I ordered the PEI mussels and truffle fries a the mushroom starter and was very full. Excellent wine list. The menu choices were reflected a talented chef. Wish I had room for dessert! I will be back. Parking is an issue. I got lucky so factor that in.

Recommend better rat traps for outdoor seating. 3 rats were in a single planter 5 feet from my seating and we had to move inside. Also, wine was served in different wine glasses for the same type of wine during service. Food was good

Updated and very nice ambiance. I just found the dinner portion of halibut to be quite small. I am not a big eater but needed to grab something a couple hours later because ai was hungry. Food was very good, service and staff were great.

Not impressed. First they brought us the wrong cocktail. Both our cocktails were too warm. Then, 45 minutes after we had ordered the waitress came and told us that the crab cakes we ordered weren't actually available so we had to order something else. In the end, it took an hour and 15 minutes for us to get our entrees. Then, the food was nothing that special for the prices.

The food was great and our waitress was very nice but it took forever to get our entrees. The restaurant gave us a fifty percent discount. It seemed like there was a systemic issue in the kitchen or something.

this is my favorite restaurant in DC for a perfect "dining" (as opposed to eat and run) restaurant. The ambiance is truly perfect--lively but never too noisy to enjoy conversation, great light overlooking Rock Creek Park. Food is delicious-Rosie is a particularly terrific (friendly, attentive, witty) server. The only challenge is parking but worth it to hunt in order to eat here.

I can see why this has been a staple in DC for so long. I came for the spring fling but was told that additional food and drinks could not be ordered, so I opted for the regular menu. The octopus was flavorful and sooooo tender. Just this alone will have me coming back. Oysters were fresh. The sugar plum gin cocktail was too sweet compared to my typical preference but I did enjoy it. Would be a good brunch cocktail. The butter bourbon cocktail was perfect for me and I paired it with the crème brûlée(also delicious) unfortunately my filet mignon was over cooked (asked for medium but it came well done). The potato croquette that comes with it had amazing flavor. My server was attentive. You should try this place for yourself. Perfect to meet up with friends or a date night. Highly recommended.

the restaurant has a nice decoration, the service was great. The crab cakes were too salty for me though :-(

Delicious food. Broccolini Caesar starter. Nice presentation for both starters. The creole fettuccine with shrimp was well seasoned with a creamy sauce, which wasn't heavy as one might expect. The generous portion made it shareable. Glad to see the restaurant serves some local wines (Va). Tables are private and well spaced, and my guest and I could easily hear each other.

Amazing restaurant! Food is phenomenal and staff is very friendly. Recommend the soups, beet salad, tuna tacos, halibut, duck, and lamb. Lamb was perfectly cooked. Staff was incredible - very fun. Even did vodka shots with us. Will be back soon!

Amazing food. Lovely setting. Friendly staff. Unfortunately, we were there at a time when they were short-staffed and went from empty to full very quickly, so the service was significantly delayed. But they made it up to us when we pointed out how long we had been waiting. I would go again for all the other strengths and give their service another chance to get it right!
