Only place we could find with a vegan option that was open before 7. Ordered the vegan breakfast sandwich. Thought it was just okay and strange that they didn't have any ketchup. Good when you need something quick but just okay. Updated from previous review on 2024-03-23

Stopped here to grab a small snack and needed space to sit to fix my daughter’s shoes. Asked the workers for rubber bands and they went out of their way to find some. Had it not been for their help, my daughter would not have made it another block!

Very cool coffee shop located close to The White House! The interiors are really amazing giving you a chill vibe and it's a pretty happening place with lots of people walking in to have a coffee. I ended up here charging my phone and the staff was really friendly enough to let me know where the charging port is! While waiting for it, I ordered mocha frappe. Well.. this was the first time I've had a mocha frappe outside Starbucks and must say it simply blew up my mind. The coffee seemed to be layered with the dark chocolate milk at the bottom, latte in the middle and whipped cream at the top. Overall, it was 5/5.I better hope the POTUS is aware of this place and gets his coffee well.. atleast frappe from these people!

Really cool little coffee shop right next to the capital. Very clean and friendly staff. They’ve also got a nice selection of treats so if you’re looking to hang out and do some work or just swing by and grab a quick bite, this is your place. The cold brew is quite delicious too.

Customer Service is A+. I love the Pennsylvania Ave location. The only location I will visit. My favorite coffee spot. I like the Caramel Machiato latte and my favorite is the Hazelnut latte. My 1st choice when traveling to D.C. for coffee. I would visit more often but finding parking is a HEADACHE FOR SURE.Parking: Be prepared to pay for parking

We wanted capucinnos with foam heart exactly as pictured on the Peet’s menu (see photos). Instead, we got to go cups with foam trees. (They didn’t have any mugs either.) I asked if our coffee could be redone to have foam hearts, as pictured. The barista seemed confused but went ahead and redid our coffee… with the tree instead of the hearts again. When I asked why trees again instead of hearts they said because trees look prettier. We were so confused. Does Peet’s make coffee that looks like coffee pictured on the menu?
