Great sushi, great drinks. We came for a date night and were very happy with the nigiri quality. The dumplings were a little strong for us.

Everything was delicious, the service was great. Didn't have a reservation but they worked us in. Will definitely be back.

I ordered delivery for 2 with high expectations for Perry’s. We each got 2 rolls and then one miso soup and one edamame. With the pricing of the rolls I would hope they would be served with wasabi, soy sauce, and ginger but that was missing from the order entirely. We were also missing chop sticks. The flavor of the sushi was bland and not very fresh. Overall very disappointing.

top notch service and food! the interior is beautiful and the servers were knowledgeable. the fish is really fresh and there's a lot of variety. i love the modern takes on the classic dishes. the dragon roll was my favorite, the char on the unagi was perfect. the japanese inspired cocktails are delicious, I especially recommend the sweetheart!

Having a toddler the options for eating out aren't as expansive as they once were. Perry's has become my favorite for delivery from one of the big services. First time we ordered we got a sushi and sashimi for 2 and the quality and presentation were excellent. Our most recent order on a whim with company over was to order the Deluxe Platter for 4 which was again excellent. Added bonus of some melt in your mouth chu toro nigiri and sashimi. It's been a while since I sat there and paused while eating a piece of sashimi to slowly savor it, but the chu toro was on point! Rolls were also excellent. Well constructed and quality ingredients. The spicy tuna was thick with fish taking up 80 percent and then a thin layer of rice with nori.

I need to make other patrons aware of the private message I received from the restaurant owner on Instagram after leaving a 3 star review on Resy after we dined there last week. In that review, I said that the dishes were tasty but entree sizes were small for the price and that the sushi was average. Obviously dropping my Yelp review to 1 star because of his reaction. I see plenty of reviews here on Yelp that echo the same sentiments but haven't seen him respond in the same manner to those. I used to be employed as a hostess at the former Mintwood Place 11 years ago, which he also owned. Not sure why he felt justified in messaging me this simply because we used to know each other but this is deplorable in the world of hospitality. If I had insulted the food and did not leave the 22% tip that we did, maybe his anger could've been warranted. I regret spending my money here and will never return.

To celebrate a birthday, we went to Perry's Drag Brunch on a Sunday. Gotta make reservations way in advance, but definitely worth the wait! First, the buffet and drinks - lots of great food to choose from, all-you-can-eat (I made three or four trips to the buffet myself), and this includes desserts and salads and fruits along with breakfast-y foods and lunch items. And once you've had your fill, time for the show. We saw India Larelle Houston, Labella Mafia, Sophie Carerro, Whitney GucciGoo - what a fun time! A little racy, a little raucus, but definitely fun. They really know how to make everyone feel like part of the show. And India called up everyone with birthdays, anniversaries and any other special events to give each of them a pep talk and a toast. Perry's drag brunch is a fun, lively, and *safe* event for everyone! Don't forget to bring cash for tips. If you haven't been to Perry's Drag Brunch yet, what are you waiting for?!?!

An awesome place for dinner! Drinks were delicious as was the sushi. We got the japanese sangria- very floral and tasty. A surprise winner was the fried rice- so simple but so flavorful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that the portion size on the shishito peppers was very small!

My favorite take out sushi spot in AdMo. So delish and reasonably priced. Sometimes we go and sit at the sushi bar, which is a fun experience, but we primarily order for pickup. They are always so quick at preparing the food and the sushi is always delicious! I cant wait to go to their rooftop in the summer and have been dying to attend their drag brunch. I will update the review once I have experienced both!

Service was great. We didn't have a reservation on a Monday and didn't need one. However, by 7pm you probably would have. I had the shrimp watsu burger and it was fantastic. A little messy but yummy.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is upstairs, and I did not see an elevator.

I went to Perry's for their happy hour (which is only offered at the main bar). It happens every day from 4-7, and is one of the best happy hours I've been to in DC. The food and beverage offerings completely blew me away, and I will be back soon to try some of their normal menu items! We started with the shishito peppers, which were perfectly seasoned, charred, and had a lovely sesame flavor. We also tried the Crunchy Tiger roll, which was one of the best sushi rolls I've ever had. The combination of the crunchy tempura with the creamy avocado and spicy salmon was absolutely to die for. Next, we had the Karaage Fried Chicken, which was fried to perfection and served with a delicious aioli. Lastly, we had the Madai Crudo and the Little Gem Caesar Salad. The crudo was my least favorite dish of the night (the fish was sliced a little thick for my taste). The caesar salad was absolute perfection, and a fantastic Japanese spin on a classic dish. For drinks, I had the Caipirinha, which was a refreshing lime cocktail that was extremely drinkable. I also had the Echigo beer, which was a light and fruity Hefeweizen. Our bartender was super friendly, and the food came out extremely fast. Overall, this happy hour has incredible food at a very reasonable price, especially in DC. I can't recommend it enough!

Loved my experience here. The sangria was amazing, and the sushi was great too. I was there during restaurant week so I was upset I couldn't try some of the other items on their regular menu so I will be back! It was a beautiful night on the rooftop and although it was crowded it wasn't loud at all. Can't wait to return!
