The newly revamped Prego is DELIGHTFUL. The coffee is quality and the food is now the freshest, healthiest quick dining on 17th Street. Highly recommend the sandwiches & salads.

I had the kimchi burrito and it was absolutely genius and delicious. Kimchi fried rice in a burrito essentially and it was amazing. The business is Korean owned which always makes me happy. Both of the owners were incredibly sweet and kind. Basically, go give them your business. You'll be happy you went.

My girlfriend gets the pesto chicken salad sandwich (bread toasted) and she’s obsessed! According to her, it’s the best chicken salad in DC. Also, the establishment is very clean including the bathroom. You’ve got to check them out!

Prego Again recently re-opened a couple of months ago — while I had not dined at the location prior to closure, I have been there several times since reopening and I have to say it is the best cafe in DC. The atmosphere/vibes are dreamy, the food and coffee are AMAZING, they have pastries and well displayed products, and the customer service exceeds expectations. It’s a beautiful spot and super cozy. I don’t usually write reviews but noticed all of the most prominent ones here are reviewing the old place and this is completely different.

Prego Again, but this time they've hit out of the park. What a breath of fresh air. I've seen this place try several redo's over the years but this time it's amazing ! The food is outstanding, it's a cafe but frankly the food is more creative, tasty and certainly better value than most restaurants in the neighborhood. The decor , the ambience and the bright, smiling enthusiastic staff are as good as it gets! I wish them well and hope they can keep it up.

Permanently closed due to health code violation - reported to Google to update it. Apparently they weren't bothering to pay rent either.

I used to come to this place once a week. I stopped going because there was a staff change and they weren't as good. I went back to try again recently but now the shelves are pretty empty (everything: wine, chips, sodas, chocolate, etc. are on low stock) and the person who took my order looked at me like "you want me to work?". The sandwich I ordered was ok but not nearly as good as it had been in the past. I will try again when there is another staff change and the shelves look stocked.

We were staying at a hotel in this neighborhood and were looking for a quick lunch where we could eat outside. I found this place on Yelp and it seemed to fit our needs perfectly. When we arrived, we immediately saw that they didn't have any outdoor tables. Not sure if they got rid of them or if they don't have them out for the season yet, but it's the middle of May in DC so you would think they would be out by now. Undeterred, we went inside to order our sandwiches. There is a great variety to choose from! I went for the Turkey Hummus Wrap and my wife chose the Chicken Italian Panini. They were both good...freshly made and tasty!
