Checkin system is beyond stupid. 9 + 10 = 21 at this place

The games are playing on the screens with no audio. Instead they play really bad music.

Do not come here to watch UFC fights. They started blasting music at 11pm which is right when the main fights start, killed the entire vibe. Felt like I was in the middle of a club with some small tv’s. Security is rude and pushed us out of the way a few times for no reason. Mainly just college kids who can’t handle their liquor. The bartender had an attitude and gave me wrong drinks (too sweet barely any booze). Will not be back.

This IS NOT a sports bar

This place is one of my favs places in DuPont Circle area. They always have a great offer in Live Music or Dj’s. They have a great sport games offer too. Very friendly and kind service. The venue has two different floors and a rooftop. All of those with full bar and great ambients. Always is a joyful and fun experience to be there!100% recommend!?

Came on a Sunday afternoon to meet some friends, to watch the football games I walked from the Farragut North Metro Station North Entrance metro. Took me a little less than 10 mins. There was also surprisingly sporadic street parking available You have to walk up a flight of stairs to get to restuarant. There was a live DJ playing NOLA bounce music in during commercials until about 2pm. Food and drinks were okay. Order all food and drinks at the bar. Leave your card with bartendar if you want it open. Food is sent to your table. Chicken Tenders and waffles were good

Paid $50 for open bar on Eventbrite - there was no music, the bartenders seemed confused about the promotion, and there were 40,000 gnats flying around. One star for potential! I’m super disappointed.

It was a nice place and environment. Music was good but it was crowded and it was really hot. They need better air flow. Overall

Came here during a bar crawl just for drinks. Fun vibe with relatively quick bartenders. Multi-level with lots of stairs. Rooftop area has a cute flower wall along one side.

Came here for the Panama-USA Gold Cup Semi-Finals. They had two floors playing the game, one in English and one in Spanish. It was great that there was a place to experience both. We ended up on the floor with Spanish audio and had a great time overall. Alex was our bartender and he was amazing! The salsa/bachata dancing on the floor below had some competing audio, but wasn’t an issue until later in the night. My only complaint was that after 9pm the volume of the floor below overpowered the speakers where we were watching the game. However, the overall vibe was good and it was a great place to watch a game, socialize, get food/drinks, and enjoy an evening.

Hey Public Bar. I go every Wednesday for salsa con candela. I love your bar but I just wanted to point out that Orlando Machuca is by far the best instructor in the DC area and you’re doing a disservice to your patrons and especially to the Latin dance community by not having him teach EVERY Wednesday. The other instructors are okay but they just don’t match up to Lando. Please invite him to come teach us every Wednesday!!! Thanks.
