There are few restaurants in the city that offer the full package. Quality of food, service, top notch beverage options, and a price that matches the offerings. Reverie slams it out of the park and we cannot wait to be back. Thank you so much Johnny Spero and team for having us.

All the food are delicious, and I love their drinks too. The restaurant has kinda hidden vibe in a alley in Georgetown. And the atmosphere is good, very good for dates or casual hangs

We were very excited about going to a Michelin star restaurant since we don't have any where we're from. Reverie was an expensive disappointment unfortunately. A few of the dishes were good and so was the service but it was definitely not worth the $$. I am attaching a picture of the courses for that evening and the images of the food. Presentation was very nice. The flavor combinations just didn't really work too well. There were combinations of sweet and bitter or bitter and not very well seasoned or other flavors that sadly didn't do any justice to the ingredients which were obviously fresh.

Unsurprisingly for a Michelin starred place that's $$$$$, food was fantastic and its presentation beautiful. Wine pairings were spot on. Loved the seafood focus, though the duck was definitely delicious. I'm not much of a dessert person, so I could've done without the several sweet courses at the end -- or would have preferred more of the savory, but I acknowledge I'm probably in the minority with this opinion. I could also have done with a little less attention from the servers, but that's just me. I like to focus on the food and my date, so smiling and nodding and listening at length to various servers over the course of the meal kills the mood a bit for me.

Absolutely fantastic tasting menu and beverage pairing. Clearly deserving of the recognition they have received. I never write reviews, but felt compelled to call out the sommelier. She not only accommodated my allergy to tannins, but took the time after we had already finished our meal and paid our bill (and I think after service was over), to go in the back and write up a list of wineries in Tuscany, as we had mentioned we had an upcoming trip to Italy. Food aside (which again, was superb), this was a master-class in customer service and it did not go unappreciated.

This is a high end 5 star restaurant for sure. The food is very carefully curated and you can tell a lot of prep and thought went into each meal. The wine pairing were also on point. Very expensive but this is what you expect for this type of money.

My daughters and I had the tasting menu and were blown away by the flavor combinations, the freshness, and the attention to detail. Service was impeccable. Overall the perfect experience.

Definitely worth fighting the traffic and tourists in Georgetown. A great staff to interact with at the chef's counter. The food was incredible. One of the best all-around experiences I've had at a tasting. This will be a repeat visit spot for me!

This is the best meal I have had in DC. A little better than minibar and much better than Bresca. They have a rice and crab dish topped with what was described to me as "egg yolk sludge" that was divine. It was so good I told the chef that I wanted to sleep with that sludge (still would.. hmu you sexy sludge). The wine pairing was very reasonable. The service was impeccable. I am still thinking of this meal the morning after, which was not that case for the other Michelin starred restaurants I have tried in this city.

I don't post often but when I do it's because of the excitement of a great dining experience. Reverie is something new and refreshing. The creativity, passion and effort going into this restaurant amazes me. This is a delicious, fun, and blow your mind experience. I say experience because everything seems perfect and the attention to detail and warmth of the staff is felt. If you are looking for such an experience, check them out.

I've been coming to Reverie since 2019 and have seen the ebbs and flows of Johnny Spero's restaurant and man have things changed now that they got their 1 Michelin star. For two 14 item tasting menu, one wine pairing, a glass of cider and a couple of glasses or tea, ya girl dropped $750+. Lemme say I was I shock. Especially cause the tasting menu was just that. Everything the size of my palm or smaller. I could go to two Michelin start restaurant, Jōnt, spend $1k for two people and have SO MUCH MORE FOOD AND DRINKS. They used to have an a la carte menu, which I honestly enjoyed and I feel is a nice alternative offers a lower price point for those who wanted to enjoy Reverie's offerings but couldn't splurge for a tasting menu. Reverie used to offer a full roasted duck which is AMAZING and worth every penny. I took a photo to remember how amazing it was cause I haven't been able to get it since or never at the same size. Overall, if you want to have a nice date nice in Georgetown and drop some monies and hang with cool people, come to Reverie. Also, it's right across from Chaia taco in the alley- don't get lost. Will I come back to Reverie? Honestly, no. Johnny does have another restaurant opening up near RPM which I'm hoping offers more affordable prices.

Love this place, a hidden gem in G town. My wife and I always go there for some special occasions. The owner, Jonny is a super nice guy, he is very involved with all the cooking process and dish preparations. We know him for a while, always text him for recommendations before our visit. Sometime we're able to reserve some special dishes in advance. We used to tell Jonny this place should be a Michelin rated restaurant. Well, in 2022, it is now Michelin 1 star. Unlike some of the Michelin rated restaurants within the area, you can tell everyone loves working there, you see passions in them. Keep up with the hard work, and well deserved! FYI, these pics were from 2018 before they went Michelin 1-star.

Give this restaurant all the stars! This was one of the best meals of my life and the best restaurant in DC in my opinion. When you go, do not skip. Get the Tasting menu and sit at the Chefs table (with wine pairing). Enjoy yourself. Watch the chefs unfold their magic in front of you. Despite being seafood focused, this was the best roast duck I have experienced in DC. Better than Bresca. Better than Kinship (but it was close). We have something special here in DC. Make sure you go!

Reverie has the most phenomenal tasting menu and wine paring. The flavors and combinations are out of this world imaginative. By far one of the best dinner experiences. They surely deserve their Michelin star.
