Terrible customer service experience — dined in on 4/30/2024 at 12:20 pm, the manager overcharged me for my meal and i had to press the issue with him before he made the adjustment.

I am from Texas and know Mexican food, but this is not Mexican food. I rarely eat Mexican food anywhere except in my hometown because San Antonio has the best in the country. This place was new to me and I thought it was a small business owned eatery. It is not, they have several if not more.My experience.1. I walk in and they looked (two of them) bored and as If they hated being there. No smiles, no "hello welcome"2. I asked to have my tortillas warmed up and toasted. He made a feeble attempt as they were still cold and from a plastic bag that you get from the store, so that was a clue this was just a fast food wanna be Mexican place.3. The Asada was luke warm at best and dry.It was just horrible. I am Mexican-American and I know what it is suppose to taste like. People in DC have no clue what Mexican Food is suppose to taste like so they are being fooled.What a waste. I will never go back.

I usually go for a Chicken Bowl and tried it here a couple of times & we really loved it. Good quality and authentic mexican food.Wheelchair accessibility: Its a small place and do not think will have a Wheelchair option
Just think of Chipotle but local with better flavor and fresher ingredients. I will prob never step foot into a Chipotle again. I will say, I wish they would add a bit more flavor to their ingredients. The sauces you can add at the end def helps add that flavor, but I feel they white-washed their recipe to accomodate to the many white working class in the area. Otherwise, its good. I will be back. If you’re hungry, I would always go for the bowl, I feel they do skimp a bit on the burritos. They are not usually filling for me.

I ordered the bowl with chicken and a side of chips on queso. The portions were great and the food was delicious. I used Uber eats and they got the food to me quickly from order to delivery.

It was okay. I feel like the food has minimal seasoning and tasted bland, the portion size was also so small compared to previous visits…it was like a baby burrito at $13. (Photo after two bites). I would not go back.

Food was perfectly fine. But the food was just normal, nothing fancy, nothing remarkable. Service was fast, but not super friendly or that helpful, just going through the routine. Ordered a Burrito and was in and out in just a few minutes.

Honestly, it feels really weird to give a fast casual Mexican place a five star review, but I have to admit, the food at Sol was delicious. Everything tasted very fresh, and so many elements of the food were more authentic than what you would get at a chipotle or another business.The portions were great, and the service was good, too. I got the chicken. If you want steak, it takes a little longer to cook. The chicken was extremely flavorful. The green sauce here is the secret weapon. It's absolutely delicious and it will leave you wanting more. I will absolutely be returning when I'm in the area and hungry.
