Great vegan food and pastries! I have ordered multiple times from Sunflower Gardenz and have never been disappointed in the quality and taste of their food, I highly recommend!

Be careful. My wedding cake was incorrect. When I asked for a partial refund it was denied.

Listen, I’m not a vegan, but Sunflower Gardenz might have made a believer out of me. Best vegan food I’ve ever had. Period!

Placed an order online for a group of people, went to pick it up, and there was a sign out front that they were closed? Then had to scramble and figure out another option for the group instead and also coordinate a refund with the business. If you decide to close that day, then please close the website for online orders! Was very much a hassle and burden.

Food and service was amazing. I ordered 24 vegan red velvet cupcakes for a graduation and my expectations we exceeded. From the initial contact online and friendly responses to the curbside pick up, the experience with them was great. The cupcakes were moist, flavorful, and nicely decorated.

Our go-to for desserts, and they just happen to be vegan! Flavorful, beautifully prepared, unique items you can't find elsewhere. The savory options are amazing too, they are magicians with seitan. Don't miss their seasonal offerings for holidays! Most recently we had a delicious box of items for high tea from their Mothers' Day menu and everything was perfect and fresh. We are really lucky to have Sunflower Gardenz in our city, a hidden gem for sure

I am a meat eater who is very passionate about butter, but these vegan baked goods are amazing! The blueberry velvet bar is featured in my nightly dreams. It’s dense and chewy and just perfect. The strawberry lemonade cupcake tastes exactly like a glass of strawberry lemonade and the key lime takes like fresh lime (not too sweet). I didn’t love the chocolate brownie, but everything else was incredible! This place is the real deal!

I had their food at Woofstock and it was amazing so I got food again for cinco de mayo and they were the best tracks I ever had.

I was genuinely excited to support this black-owned and queer owned business because there are definitely not enough of these business out there. However if I could give them zero stars, I absolutely would. My interaction started off acceptable. I wanted to pick up: 1) one tasting box for wedding cakes 2) one tasting box for wedding desserts. I also placed two take home orders for their Cinco de Mayo taco meal. I ordered these items on Saturday, 4/15. All items would be picked up on Friday, May 5. First, Sunflower Gardenz was extremely misleading as I had originally requested to taste a blackberry cheesecake. Upon choosing this cheesecake as one of my items for the box, I was informed that they I would not be able to have a tasting of it because they could only sell me the whole cheesecake due to the cost of ingredients. Ok, no problem - that’s one Cheesecake. I would have loved to have known this upfront but I understand that the ingredients cost more. The next day, I’m told that “As far as the cheesecake— we charged you for a regular blackberry, which is actually a cheesecake we don’t make anymore haha.” They were willing to make it, but if you are the owner and manager of your own business, how do you not know what products your business offers? In the same conversation, they said that there would be an up charge to make the cheesecake keto as requested for “ things like “milk”, keto flour, keto vegan butter and more.” Once again, understandable.I did not have a true issue with them until a week later on 4/22. My partner and I recently had a change in plans and have decided we did not need desserts for our wedding. I kindly notified Mo immediately and requested a refund. I was told that they could only give me a 50% refund back to my card and the other 50% would be in store credit. Mo’s email to me included a screenshot of their “catering refund” policy. The word bakery is in their business’s name. What kind of bakery doesn’t offer full refunds when the scheduled date of deliverables is well in advance? You’re a bakery - you should have all the ingredients ready. And considering their whole schtick is vegan and keto, they also have those speciality ingredients on hand. There’s no way that you have started making the items two weeks in advance.Their website clearly states that:“All cakes must be cancelled 48 hours in advance to receive a full refund. Failure to cancel within this time frame ensures that the customer will only receive 50% of the refund.” - I ordered a cheesecake and cancelled my cheesecake order 14 days in advance - way more than 72 hours by my calculation. Why did I not receive a full refund for the cheesecake?“Cancellation Policy (orders exceeding $500):Sunflower Gardenz requires a 72 hour notice to cancel all orders over $500. A 50% refund will be given and refunded to the credit card used or put on a gift card for in-store credit.” - my order was not over $500. The total of my two orders combined was $251.62. Once again, by my calculations, significantly less than $500. Why was I not given a full refund in this case?“All catering orders must be canceled 72 hours in advance to receive a 50% refund. Failure to cancel within this time frame ensures that the customer will only receive a 25% refund. Refund will be returned to card used during payment.” - This was not a catering order, this was a tasting which is being labeled as catering, in fact they label all orders catering so there is no way to get a full refund per their policy. The things that got me riled up the most was when I called and the other person in the shop (not Mo) literally stated “you are right, we probably could make our policies more clear.”These are poor business practices that lead to poor customer satisfaction and genuinely have prevented me from supporting this small, local business. When a business does not care about customer concerns, they definitely do not care about business. I will be taking my future business elsewhere to other more deserving bakeries.

Ordered catering for my birthday dinner from Sunflower Gardenz for the first time. The food was SO amazing and the set up was beautiful. You can tell they care about what they do. I’ll be ordering again :)

I ordered a tasting box for my upcoming wedding, and I’m still dreaming about some of the items. The blueberry velvet brownie was incredible—fresh blueberries and perfectly chewy. I also loved the strawberry lemonade and key lime cupcakes. They nailed the flavor and neither was overly sweet. And the cake was moist and soft. I am not vegan and love butter, but still loved these baked goods. I highly recommend!

I have ordered both the Thanksgiving dinner plate and the Christmas dinner plate! Both were phenomenal and came with so much delicious and filling food I had extra for leftovers the next day. The Christmas dinner plate came with berry cheesecake for dessert and it is AMAZING! In January, I ordered a whole cheesecake for a birthday and I still can’t get over how delicious it was.Vegetarian options: 100% vegan!! :)

We’ve loved Sunflower Gardenz for two years now, it’s great as a treat for brunch or as catering for a special event. My spouse loved their birthday cake!
