The place is a neighborhood gem. The food is super fresh and the margaritas are top notch. Very fortunate to have such an establishment in the neighborhood.

The managers are not professional at all, they do not know how to treat their employees, I do not recommend

I used to love Taco City, especially it being a neighborhood bar, but recently noticed their prices have changed and are a bit overpriced. A single taco is $6 (not just seafood or specialty tacos but a chicken street taco is $6!!) If you get 3 tacos it’s $20. How is that a deal? When you charge more for what it would cost getting 3 tacos individually ($18)? Not sure what happened but absolutely feels like I’m being ripped off now. I do enjoy my experience at the Taco City in Navy Yard area!

Extremely underrated taco place—had fantastic fish and shrimp tacos. I just don’t really love the atmosphere and would probably not ever dine in here.

Super yummy lunch. I had no idea such a gem was in the neighborhood. Tasty and so fresh. Caution- it is pricey. I will go again on the days they have special deals.
Such a great neighborhood gem. The food is good and the atmosphere is cute and quaint. My only gripe is that on the website, it states the restaurant closes at 9pm/9:30pm. However, it’s more like 7:30pm! It always closes early for many different reasons and if you walk in to dine at 7:15pm, they’re looking at you crazy or May tell you that you can only order takeout. I wish they’d just change the times!

Yum!!!! I measure Mexican places by their lengua tacos. This place is legit. Some of the best tacos and tortillas in DC.

I got a chicken quesadilla here today and as I was eating it I noticed an out-of-place feeling in my mouth, I ended up pulling out a large piece of plastic bag that was in my quesadilla! It was disgusting and could have been a choking hazard. I called to ask for a refund and told them what happened. They asked me to come show them- so I walked back ( I had gotten takeout) and showed them a picture that I took. They did not apologize and just kept telling me next time I needed to bring the quesadilla to prove it! They did give me a refund, but I was shocked that they did not apologize or seem overly surprised.

Decent Mexican food and drinks. Salsas y mole no tienen mucho sabor. But the corn tortillas are really tasty.
