Great experience! I’ve been a fan of habanero for a while. I hope they bring back their freshly made flour tacos

Live nearby and go here occasionally, was disappointed to find the birria torta replaced with the torta taqueria which I found to be not a suitable replacement. Not a dealbreaker when it comes to eating there but …

Not a good value for the amount of food you're getting. 3 tiny street tacos for $15 pre-tax. One had two pieces of shrimp and the other had a tablespoon of chicken. Chicken tortilla soup $10 pre-tax for a lukewarm cup, double the amount. Flautas are decently priced at $9 and better value. I enjoyed the Mexican coffee too. You're going to need to spend double or triple to be full. I'd give it 4 stars if they fixed the quantity.

I don't know if I was just really hungry or if this was some of the best Mexican food in DC! The carnitas in my nachos was so flavorful and tender! The carne asada burrito was amazing. They have margaritas on tap and I thought that was pretty cool. This restaurant is located inside the Bryant Street Market. This was my first time there and the layout is pretty cool, tons of seating and some other good looking by eateries. We finished the meal off with some caramel covered churros that were pretty decent. The caramel definitely took them to the next level. The customer service was ok, but we didn't really need anything from them after we got our food and found somewhere to sit.

If you ask any DC native where the best taco spot in the city is - I can guarantee they will say Taqueria Habanero. This is the most authentic cuisine available to those who crave comfort Mexican food. Living in DC for the past 5 years, I've brought all of the my friends and family to the 14th st location. When they expanded to Bryant St - it felt like a dream come true. Across locations the staff consistently provide an inviting and attentive experience. I'm also forever grateful for the family-oriented atmosphere, it makes it a great place to catch up with friends. The management is top tier, and that's not an easy feat in an ever-changing community such as DC. ALRIGHT so lets get to the good stuff...as a vegetarian - you already know I'm reaching for the veggie quesadilla, side of beans/rice and an agua fresca on the side. When I'm feeling a little extra...HA! You already know I'm going for those perfectly crisp curly fries loaded with veggies. Thank you TH for making this lil latina transplant feel at home!Vegetarian options: Almost all menu options have a veggie option!Dietary restrictions: great for vegetariansParking: There are parking garages and a parking lot onsiteKid-friendliness: super family friendly environment and food options

I got my order from Ubereats The prices are not worth the food, 18 bucks for 3 STALE single tortilla tacos? The meat in tacos was dry And the advertisement on Uber eats is not at all how you get the food. The churros looked really nice with whipped cream and some sort of strawberry sauce or Caramel on the add, and what u actually get are the churros with sugar. Do not recommend there’s definitely better taco places at a much cheaper price.

I recently visited Taqueria Habanero and, unfortunately, my experience was not as enjoyable as I had hoped. I ordered the Frozen Margarita, which, to my disappointment, turned out to be overly sweet. Given that I paid a hefty $17 for the drink, I expected a more balanced and satisfying flavor profile.Upon realizing the excessive sweetness, I approached the staff and politely requested a replacement or adjustment to the drink. However, I was met with a refusal, which left me perplexed and dissatisfied. In situations like these, customer service is crucial, and the lack of willingness to accommodate a simple request was disheartening. In the end, I decided to cut my losses and requested the staff to discard the drink. It's unfortunate that my experience with the Frozen Margarita overshadowed the rest of my visit, and I left the establishment with a sense of disappointment. While I appreciate the variety of offerings on their menu, the lack of flexibility and customer-centric service in this instance left much to be desired. I hope that Taqueria Habanero can improve in this aspect to ensure a more positive experience for future patrons.

First off, we love Taqueria Habanero and frequently went to the 14th Street location. We were super excited when the Bryant Street location opened as we live in the neighborhood. At first this location was good but the last couple of months it's consistently poor quality. We went tonight and this will be our last time. We spent 50 dollars to have child sized flavorless tacos on dry tortillas. I'd love to see this location thrive but we can't keep coming back and throwing money away on bad food. Alegria is consistently good so we'll come back for cocktails but never again for Taqueria Habanero.

Truly the smallest and most mediocre Nachos I've ever had. When i got the box after paying almost 17 dollars, i had hoped it would at least be good. There was a few branches of bay leaves in it which was less than appetizing. The meal was fine. Left the experience hungry. Not at all worth stopping here for any food unless you desire to spend the most money for the least return.
