Make your own 18inch very good value - two for less than $32! Cooked fresh in 25 minutes. Sit on the tables outside and enjoy!

Not one of the better locations in my opinion, because there is no indoor cafe where you can sit down and eat, like at some of the other locations. Other than that, same great quality products (although some overpriced in my opinion), and good customer service…

Surprised with the vegan pizza and muffins! It's not rare to find empty selves, most of the times they run out of tofu. I find annoying that they state that both their meats and fish are sustainable etc etc. Updated from previous review on 2022-02-11

Love this Whole Foods... better stocked than Riverdale... my only thing with this location is... whoever makes the pizza at this location can't make pizza... it's horrible... and sometimes the chocolate chip cookies are over cooked to the point you can't even heat it up to soften it but other than that... all good mostly

After a decade as a loyal customer of the P Street Whole Foods i will be taking my business elsewhere for the foreseeable future. Not only are they constantly out of stock of basic produce items, but the new pay to park system is a disaster. If, by force of habit (and because hardly anywhere in DC requires you to validate, and because when you are in a chaotic checkout line it's easy to forget), you forget to validate before getting to the garage exit you will have to pay $10 to leave the garage. I've now done this twice and so have paid $20 lately for the privilege of shopping at a grocery store that is regularly out of things I want. Is my forgetfulness partly to blame? Yes. Am i going to shop somewhere that i know is looking to profit from my forgetfulness? No.

This is the only chain grocery store in the area where I can find black lentils! Thank you, Whole Foods!

First time reviewer, long-time shopper. Rarely give a one-star review, but this location [and seemingly the brand] has deteriorated since Amazon took over. Probably Common items are consistently out of stock and often for weeks at a time--dried beans, parsley, onions are common examples and today all packaged greens except for baby spinach were out of stock. It's a nightmare if you're hoping to do what the clientele of a grocery store does--weekly shopping, meal planning, making lists. On the topic of clientele, if you still like to pick out your own perishables, be ready to dodge a growing cohort of clueless, Amazon prime delivery contractors. While it's not their fault (the whole system is flawed, why can't they use a warehouse?), they are frequently confused, take up all available seating for in-store dining, and make it nearly impossible to use an elevator if you need one. On the topic of elevators, if you do weekly groceries and need to drive, they now require you validate your parking. Today I sat in two traffic jams in the garage upon entry and exit because some poor soul forget their ticket to exit. While looking to reduce non-client parking, offering hourly parking seems to actively encourage those who would otherwise not enter it to use it. Fair game if they pay, right? For two major holidays in 2019 key ingredients or entrees had to changed at our home last minute because the meat or vegetables purchased ended up being at the end of their shelf-life. Was never an issue in the past and I'm pretty maniacal when it comes to condition of meat and produce I buy. Finally, this used to be a favorite of those who like quality produce, certain imports and health conscious brands. While I can now buy an Alexa there, I see the aforementioned things decreasingly available. Can't wait until the DC Wegmans opens. Or maybe Giant/Safeway can keep upping their game?

The quality and selection of the food here is fantastic, but this place is chronically understaffed, particularly the bakery. For the most part, service at this location is very friendly and helpful, but it can be really hard tracking someone down behind a counter. The WORST though is the express checkout. The number system with the different-colored lanes is so confusing and inefficient. I've seen more than one argument (one almost to the point of a physical altercation) break out over who is next in line. It's such a stressful experience. I wish WF would look into Trader Joe's check-out model. It's simple, straightforward, and efficient. What keeps me coming back? The salad bar and the wine selection. Otherwise, if I'm shopping for other items, I go to Giant. UPDATE: Just witnessed another epic fight break out over who was next in line. The poor cashiers handled it, but man, was that an unpleasant experience. WF, pls get rid of that awful checkout system!

Great location. Most employees are super friendly and helpful. However, increasingly the items, especially the produce section is picked over. This is largely because there are numerous order pickers working for Amazon prime whom customers need to compete with. Frequently everything you need is out of stock. Bathrooms are disgusting. Multiple layers of urine on floor. Ramps to parking areas look like they have not been cleaned since opening.

This location had everything I needed and went for. Service was nice, and they did remind me to validate parking. The overall ambiance is a bit drab and dark. I don't love parking decks, but we did get a space. Going upstairs to the bathroom is confusing because it's behind their packing station for deliveries, FYI.

This WF has become completely intolerable. I have lived in the area for a little over 4 years and this has always been my go-to grocery store. Over the past year the crowds have become miserable, exacerbated by an influx of instacart shoppers on their phones wandering in search of various items. Rarely can I get through my shopping list without them being out of at least one item. They seem to be constantly re-stocking yet continue to run out of the most basic items, such as onions. The number of employees constantly re-stocking only makes the crowdedness worse. Only come on a Sunday or Monday evening if you want a truly insufferable experience. If you can grocery shop midday on a weekday, you may be able to get through without wanting to die, but I'm leaning more towards spending the 30 minutes I would in this WF line to drive out to the suburbs for my weekly shopping.

I ate at the hot bar yesterday and was very impressed! You can fill up a box with anything you want and pay based on the weight! I got a bunch of roasted green beans, meatballs, some sesame chicken, lo mein, and a potato samosa (I know, it's a random mix of food LOL). Everything was delicious and I definitely grabbed more food than I needed since I couldn't finish-- price came out to only $10!!! I decided to grocery shop after dinner and was amazed by all of the options for shoppers with food restrictions. My mom recently became Keto and I texted her photos of their Almond Flour Tortillas! We are excited to make some Keto quesadillas the next time she visits!

This is my favorite Whole Foods to go to in dc. There's great customer service. Everything is organized and fully stocked, easy to find. My favorite part is the hot bar. They always have so many good choices of food. The food is Always fresh and steaming hot. You never have to worry about scraping the bottom of the pan. The cashiers are very fast and efficient. I've never stood in line for longer than 3-4 minutes.

While walking around after lunch, we came across Whole Foods. It was incredibly busy inside the day we visited. They really pack a lot in here. We found everything we were looking for and then some. Employees around the store are friendly and helpful. Our cashier was so sweet and had a lovely personality. Our groceries were packed up neatly. The store is neat and organized. Restrooms are upstairs, as well as some seating. There is free parking available for customers (up to 90 mins). Glad we stopped by!
