Cozy little speakeasy type bar. Very nice atmosphere, and a very extensive drink list. Great spot for an after dinner drink if you're in the area.

I worked in restaurants for 10 years and tried so many cuisines and this place has a solid menu and flavorful dishes, def a menu that I’d be eager to try very soon!

It was excellent and the desert was Michelin star worthy. Nice atmosphere with a great bar.

Very overpriced. Second review first disappeared. Questionable location. Disappointed. Would not recommend. Was about to walk out to save myself $240. Staff was very good.

Overpriced. Little options to eat. Very small taps portions. Very disappointed

Great find. Gets very crowded though

This is a basement. Very noisy when crowded. Nothing special here. The service is good. Some local (Virginia) wines are also served here.

Very intimate spot, amazing service, excellent selections. Will definitely go back. I had to wait for a table (very small place) - which I think are first come first serve - but totally worth it.

Very much enjoy the overall casual and cozy atmosphere at The Dabney Cellar! It is a great pre or post dinner drink spot. It makes me excited to try The Dabney next.

It's a perfect little place to skip into and enjoy good conversation and excellent cocktails. Highly recommended.

Incredible little underground bar with great food choices including amazing oysters. Only wish they had a bit better of a beer selection.. but over all epic.

Such a great spot! One of my favorite spots in the city.

Tasty gourmet bar bites and drinks, but space is tight and service was not the best when I visited. The doors opened at 5pm on Friday and the place was packed by 5:15. We treated ourselves to the oysters, scallop crudo, pâté, and tried a few other small plates. Everything tasted fresh and interesting, but service was a miss that day. We experienced several mishaps, including waiting nearly an hour for one dish and then waiting over an hour for a dish that never came--when we followed up about this one, our server tried hard to convince us that we already received it (we had not). I would prefer to dine upstairs at the Dabney for full service and the roomy, cozy atmosphere.
