Excellent pub, historical and relaxing atmosphere, live music and lamb in the cottage pie if a bit underseasoned

Couldn't ask for a more convenient place to eat and drink when staying in the Phoenix Park Hotel since its right in the lobby and there isn't a whole lot of options in the area. Nice service at the bar and in the restaurant. Food was pretty good too. Also went to a private pre-wedding party here that was well serviced.

I've been here a handful of times and it's a solid spot for drinks, dinner, or both. Worth a visit!

I usually visit every time I come to see my son. Food was great. Service was the worst!I will probably skip this place when I visit in June.

I was unsure about ordering fried shrimp at an Irish pub, but it turned out to be excellent. Fries were fries, coleslaw was good. It's a small place but we somehow found a wall to park our 2 mobility scooters somewhat out of the way. Service wasn't BAD, it was just pretty blah. Though I did appreciate hearing some Irish voices!Wheelchair accessibility: It is accessible through the Phoenix hotel. The room where we ate is a very small space but we were able to leave mobility scooters in the hallway. I didn't see the next room where there was live music, but I assume it is a larger area.

Classic smallish bar. Well taken care of and friendly service. One of the smoothest Guinness’s I’ve ever had. The Ruben wasn’t anything to write home about. Cleaned my plate though ;)

Great local Irish pub. Guinness was cold and expertly poured. I ordered the Irish Beef Stew that was delicious. Oddly, the stew was light on beef and heavy on carrots. Good nonetheless. The night I went they had a live Irish singer which was an unexpected treat. Would definitely go back.

This became our "go to" restaurant during our stay in DC. Very tasty "home cooked" kind of food, with an Irish flair if you want it. Reasonable prices, Irish atmosphere, family friendly.Kid-friendliness: There is a bar, but this is a very family-friendly restaurant. The emphasis is definitely on dining.
