Wow what a beautiful and cozy bar. The staff were nice and friendly. The drinks were great, especially the paper plane. And the burger and chips were tasty! I hear the cheese and charcuterie boards are really good so I’ll go back for that next time. Highly recommend.

Food, service and ambience are all on point. Add on the very late hours, safe location, proximity to metro/buses - love it. Smokey and Ben run such a great bar and kitchen with a fantastic crew! Keep it up all! In Two Shakes - loved it!!!

lovedddd this place! from rhe ambiance to bartenders to the playlist! whew! def a gem! also open late w late bight food && happy hour! all the food was good && came out piping hot! got the potatoes && mac&cheese! also, dont forget your id because you will need it at the door!

ambiance was amazing! We wandered in without any expectations & it blew us away. Lighting was great-which is key for a nice speak-easy vibe in my opinion. Drinks were tasty, bar service was great.

They have an amazing happy hours and a seriously massive cocktail menu. We ordered the Charcuterie Board which was really nice, and had a nice assortment of meats. My only complaint, it needed a few more crackers. Not many vegan options, we did order the potatoes with no cheese.

Let me start by saying that I am 57 years old, so clearly not their demographic. With that, here are my pros and cons. Pros: I had a farro salad that was fabulous. Ingredients were strong, and dressing was just right. I added a lamb kebab, and the meat was perfectly flavored and tender. My husband had a charcuterie that was well balanced. The extras were true additions. And although their wine list was brief, we each found a wine that we quite enjoyed. Cons: For me, it was too loud, and too dark. I was just with one other person, and we could not hear each other. A dinner of 4 or more would have been impossible. Re lighting, it was tough to read the menu, and even the entrance stairs were underlit, which feels like a bit of a hazard. Oh, and the service was great. Overall, I would not likely return, but the food and drink were great. Just not for my age group, I suppose. Sad that I am now that age range... :-(

Golden Age is a step away from reality. You walk in your the Belle Epoch era and are transformed into a tranquil being. They have a cheese monger on staff, so don’t sleep on the nibbles. And, their staff is refreshingly friendly. My fiancé and I are having our wedding ceremony there in May, it’s that wonderful.
A lovely little spot with a nice ambiance. The bartender was super friendly, and made great cocktails. I highly recommend the Last Word & a charcuterie board.

This place is a hidden gem in dupont. I can't believe I have never come here. Great drinks, GREAT service and a really fun classy atmosphere without being too pricey. will for sureeeeee be coming back!!!

Drinks were lackluster and the server was really really slow. We ordered soup but they forgot to give us a spoon. Took us 10 minutes to flag down the waiter for a spoon. We probably could have gone to the bar to get one but we didn’t. They also never refilled our water. Could be a cool date spot, maybe , if you sat at the bar.
