Went there recently for a happy hour. The back patio had just opened up. It was nice, comfortable, and relaxing. You order and pay online which offers certain conveniences, and the food and drink arrived in a timely fashion. The pizza was good, but the tachos (tator tot nachos) were awesome! So tasty, so good. A fair selection of beers, and reasonable prices. All-in-all a very positive experience.

This place is located near the university. We stopped in for a quick bit and had a great experience. The totchos and chicken tots were flavorful and filling. I wish we had more room to try other items! The dessert menu looked delicious. There's also a small library which was neat to see.

Ate dinner here with our family. Everyone enjoyed their food. We had everything from pork chops to fish tacos and dessert. It was all good. Our server William was helpful and made some good suggestions. Definite recommend.

Trust the bad reviews! Steps of service are not followed. Poor management, not everyone is on the same page. Sat down and waited for a server but after 10 minutes we found a QR code on the table that said to order online. WEIRD! Right after we typed our order on our phones THEN a server came. Timing of drinks and food were all off. Drinks all came out at different times. Food was extremely mediocre, pretty gross to say the least. They have the nerve to charge an extra 3% on checks due to "inflation of food prices" yet my chicken sandwich that was supposed to come with ARUGULA came with ROMAINE LETTUCE (nobody informed us that there would be a change!). If you're charging for inflated food prices then make it a point to have the correct ingredients on a dish. Found a tiny beard hair also on my sandwich I'm assuming from the guy with the black beard handing out food. Waitress asked us how food was before we even tried it. Just a VERY BAD dining experience and will absolutely never return. What was most upsetting about the meal was how it affected the other person I was with. Once we left his stomach IMMEDIATELY started to give him problems. We looked for the nearest restroom for him to use because his body needed to rid itself of the burger and tots he just consumed. Trying not to be graphic but he suffered a mild case of food poisoning. I was okay after the chicken sandwich thankfully

Got the nachos with cheese, beans, and taco beef. It was so good. My bro and ma got Mac n cheese and said it was really good. Good portions, a little pricey. Place is small. Easily walkable to get to.

Nice spot. The happy hour pricing and offerings are great! The 3% forced fee not so much.

Good basic American food -- burgers, steaks, wraps, etc -- especially known for their tater tots. Decent bar. Eaten here many times over 15+ years and always leave well-fed but a bit annoyed by the lackluster service. IMO, lack of sit-down dining competition in the immediate area and fact many customers are GW students makes management oversight similarly lackluster.

Nice atmosphere and good food. The restaurant was busy and the tables close but it didn't feel confined.

In a neighborhood where value reigns supreme,For straightforward fare, this place is a dream.Service that meets the mark,In a vibe not too stark,Near GWU, it shines with esteem. It's not a dive, but simplicity's king,A beacon for meals without pretentious string. With students around,In this gem that we've found,Both the young and the old find a reason to cling.

Atmosphere was very cool. They had a multi-level building with booths that offered privacy. During the stay the staff was very attentive and quick to get orders out. Beer selection was great, and food was eclectic. Everything we had was incredible. 10/10 would return again.
