Atmosphere was busy, showing how popular the place is, it’s amazing. The wait staff was courteous, fast and efficient. Food was great, it appealed to my American palate. Try the ‘Pink Lady’ and ‘Eel cucumber sushi roll’

I have previously eaten there and have liked their lunch bento boxes. However, order their lunch special sushi rolls (California roll and shrimp tempura roll) today and all I could taste was avocado (such huge pieces that it overwhelmed the rest).

Very rude experience here . Service was mediocre and received our bowl of noodles slowly . We paid for our meal and decided not to tip as we didn’t think it warranted it . The waitress then rudely circled the suggested amount of tip when giving us our change. What a rubbish stinking attitude to have. What makes you think you deserve a tip for giving no interaction, not speaking to us and just giving us a bowl of noodles ? What a rude entitled waitress. I won’t be returning to this place that’s for sure. Management needs to sort out the rude and entitled staff . Embarrassing . Appalling behaviour there wasn’t even a “hello how are you” on greeting or a “goodbye” forgettable restaurant experience ruined by a rude waitress

The Tory, fatty, tuna was very tasty. It’s kind of like the wagyu of tuna. It’s a fatty version that’s very rich and flavorful. I had a couple pieces of that as a starter. It was a goodI also had the Tokyo Ramen. It was very rich and tasty. It tasted fairly fresh. I would definitely say if you are in this area it is a great spot to get a good bowl of Ramen. I’ve kind of been ruined since I tasted really good Ramen in Tokyo last year. I’ve yet to find anything that quite matches that. But, this is a really good and tasty bowl of Ramen.

I ordered two rolls to go and I can’t say much about the customer service provided but I took away 1 star because they didn’t provide chop sticks or any utensils with the order. The spicy tuna roll didn’t really standout to me and lacked flavorThe sushi rolls were pretty good. Sweet Potatoe roll with cream cheese is delicious! 1 dollar extra to add cream cheese, kinda ridiculous but it’s ok. The spicy tuna was ok! Just lacked flavor and it simply wasn’t all that good.

We picked the restaurant due to its proximity to our hotel on our first evening in town and its reviews on Google and Yelp!.Let me get right down to it. We ordered 4 dishes:1. Chicken karaage2. Crispy soft shell crab3. Yellowtail scallion roll4. Spicy tuna rollThe chicken karaage pieces were really chicken nuggets. The batter was thick, heavy and dense. The meat felt like processed meat instead of meat pieces. Even then, McDonald’s Chicken McNuggets would have been better (flavour-wise and texture-wise for chicken nuggets).I finished the whole soft shell crab myself because my husband wouldn’t eat any of it after one bite. Similar to the chicken karaage, the batter was rough and heavy. The crab meat was mushy like it had been thawed out after being frozen for a long time.Although there was a huge chunk of yellowtail in each piece of the yellowtail scallion roll, we could not taste the yellowtail, nor the scallion for that matter. The spicy tuna roll was a mush of heavily ground up tuna. The only flavour was a mild spicy mix of something. We blamed ourselves for not trusting our instincts by not walking away when we saw forks on the table upon sitting down. The upside of our dining experience … it will only get better.

Great new lunch spot for our team. I got their spicy ramen and it was the perfect amount of heat and salt, noodles had an excellent chew. Service was fast and my glass of water never went empty. Loved the feel of the restaurant, felt like a portal to Japan! I plan on coming back soon for happy hour the HH menu pricing is very generous!

Hibachi portion was tooooo small. Only few steak pieces. Fried rice was just soy sauce, I didn't taste any other seasoning. Lunch special doesn't seem to be a great deal. My food came out when my friends were done eating... service was OK. We got seated very quickly.

Really good Japanese cuisine in D.C. You can enjoy various Japanese foods there; ramens are very nice, especially.
