The place has a nice rooftop view and some decent happy hour specials, but it’s overpriced and not well-managed. Several of my colleagues have shown up at the venue and it’s been closed because their opening hours are not accurate on their website, and it’s difficult to find updated information. They don’t answer the phone when you call, so I had to walk over there to confirm if they would be open on Thursday at 4:00 pm. As a surprise to no one: they are not. They don’t open until 5:00 pm. It’s not great for customers that the only way they can get accurate information is to go to a place in person.

Beautiful view and rooftop area with fires. Cozy interior but drinks were expensive and watery.

Jade is an amazing bartender and it was dope talking to her about her tattoo. She is personable and down earth! Definitely coming back! Oris is her manager that came up and spoke with us and she was cool as well!

The location is great, but the operating hours listed on Google Maps need to be corrected. It states that they open at 4:00 P.M., which is inaccurate. It's important to be more accurate with these details because nowadays, people often plan meetings by checking a place's hours on Google, and it's expected that the information provided there by the businesses is reliable.

This review is only vased on new year eve party. The party was okay but it wasn't worth $75/pers. It was hard to order a drink. We waited 30mn. They only had 2 bartender 1 to make drinks the other one im not sure what he was doing. We got mostly mexican/Latinos music. The drink menu was so small it was hard to read. The ambiance was okay. It was a waste of $75

Reserved this rooftop on put a deposit down and planned my New Years around coming here to enjoy sunset. Once arriving the response was ‘sorry we have the rooftop booked for a private event' and there's nothing we can do about it. There must be something extremely wrong with management if you forgot to take down online reservations on arguably the busiest day of the year. Thanks for nothing, creating unnecessary problems for your clients because you're incompetent. Please return my security deposit ASAP.

Definitely enjoyed myself and this could be a nice date night spot with the fire pit tables and views of the Capital and Washington monument.

NOTE TO YELP: this is the rooftop bar of the Morrow Hotel in Noma - so it deserves a Yelp listing *distinct* from that of the hotel itself. It's just steps away from the south entrance/exit of the nearby Metro station and above tons of train tracks approaching Union Station. The south-facing outdoor patio has great views of the Capitol as a result. It's all about the outdoor patio, in fact. There's otherwise some room inside, a long interior bar, and a DJ spinning live tunes, making for an uptempo atmosphere. As for the food and drink, coming here during weekday happy hour - especially if you can time things just before sunset - is the best move, as certain food items are discounted to $10 and certain cocktails discounted to $12. I enjoyed the Summer Roses (Maker's Mark, aperol, lillet rose, lemon) which was a refreshing drink on a warm late summer day, plus a California roll and cucumber & avocado roll which were forgettable and which I wouldn't recommend at full price. So, really, it's mostly about the scene, drinks, and views here.

I was at Upstairs Rooftop at The Morrow for a party. The views are unbelievable and the fish tacos are delicious. The staff is very friendly and they made sure that I was happy at all times. This was a perfect place for a Sunday night music and dance party.

Although service is good, food and atmosphere are just mediocre compared to the other bars around the area. You can get much better food for a better price at other places in the neighborhood or in nearby Union Market or La Cosecha. I recommend going once for the views and a drink, but other than that, explore what else is around.
