Food slapped. Brenda was the sweetest server in the world.

Food and variety of drinks was solid but we had a reservation of 10 for bottomless brunch, so it felt like the auto-gratuity of 6+ party affected our quality of service and like we were being rushed out

Our waitress was great, and she was the only aspect of the place deserving of five stars. The food was okay; no one was particularly impressed by it. It took nearly 40 minutes for our food to be served from the time we ordered, despite the place being fairly empty at the time – only two other tables were occupied. I’m giving it two stars mainly because of how dirty the patio was. We literally sat among trash: leaves, cigarette butts, and trash from the street. I doubt it had been cleaned in at least a week or two.

Drinks were good but someone in our party got fish and it came ice cold. Our waitress didn't check on us once, we had the menus the entire meal, didn't get the drinks we ordered until we asked again, had empty glasses and plates on our tables. The manager came to apologize about the fish and offered to buy a dessert which we declined and then refused to comp anything else from our meal. The waitress never apologized for the uncooked food or service. Despite having several open tables, they only seated us after asking several times if we were going to have a table. The ambiance would be nice if everything else wasn't so bad. The Cesear salad we ordered had no dressing and was just oily. Even with the ambience and drinks I wouldn't recommend.

Honestly Vagabond is one of the coolest spots in DC and it seems to be so low key right own as few people come here to enjoy a night out. The food is amazing and the ambience is also so chic and bright and illuminating, I love the rooftop area, and the drinks are incredible. My favorite at the moment is the Sunzal. A must visit in AdMo

Vagabond is seriously one of the best places I’ve had dinner so far. My best friend and I came in for dinner and seriously enjoyed the beautiful decor, the food, and the attentive service. We started with the warm, fresh pita and dip trio. I had the Happy Hour Hawaiian Chicken Sliders, and they tasted so fresh and delicious. My friend and I were repeatedly saying, “This is everything”. It was amazing and we will be back

Last month the Vagabond team hosted my (surprise) engagement party on their rooftop, and I couldn't have asked for a better venue!! From the moment we reached out to inquire about hosting our event, the staff was incredibly easy to work with and friendly. They were super flexible and accommodating to all our requests, making the planning process a breeze. The private rooftop reservation comfortably held our party of 50 guests, and everyone had a fantastic time. The food was delicious and perfect for sharing among our guests. Menu options were super flexible and affordable. We've been several times to eat in the restaurant since Vagabond opened (which is great in it's own right) but 10/10 for a private party - really happy about how it all went down! Thanks again to the Vagabond crew!

The atmosphere is pretty and food tasted good…the service was just reallyHorrible. We had a birthday party of 8 and the automatic 20% gratuity seems to be the reason we were so neglected. We were constantly waiting for drinks that our server forgot about. There was no server present when our meal came out(one meal was missing so we spent 10 Minutes waiting to eat before I had to go find the server). There was no two minute check-back to see if we needed anything or even liked our food. I had to get up and search for the manger and server an extra time each for. My girlfriend’s food came out 10 minutes after everyone else’s TWICE. Even after her correct meal came out there was still no check back or follow Up from The manager or server. Maybe the experience is better for smaller parties. Looked toBe about 2 or 3 servers and one manager on duty for the entire establishment on a Sunday brunch. Won’t be returning.

Love love loved the yucca here! It was crispy and delicious. Next time I think I'll get just that along with skewers. The poké was a huge portion and very filling and the bok choy was some of the best I ever had. We were sat right away on a Friday night and the service was good. They have three floors with the bottom one having a different ambiance! Go in and check it out yourself. I will be back for that yucca lol

Just back to leave ANOTHER stellar review for this place! Awesome service and great food and drinks at fair prices! $9 for really excellent happy hour cocktails makes me so pleased! Cloudbreak, Sunzal, and playa hermosa were all fantastic! The vagabond chips are delicious, along with the fish tacos and shrimp skewer! Already thinking about my next visit!

Red beet hummus had walnuts! Put a quick end to the night. Highly recommend a change to the menu.

This joint has been on my and my partner's list for a bit. We stopped in at 8:30 on a Thursday and found two bar stools in the corner. The bar tender was super friendly, and she works Thursdays and Saturdays, so for her alone I will definitely be back. The menu is coastal surfer themed, so everything you would imagine eating by a beach. We went with a variety of appetizers because we love to share. The dip trio and the sliders were our favorites. Cocktails and food are moderately priced, which is hard to find a place that has great quality and is affordable in DC. Thank you for a fun experience!
