Vagabond is seriously one of the best places I’ve had dinner so far. My best friend and I came in for dinner and seriously enjoyed the beautiful decor, the food, and the attentive service. We started with the warm, fresh pita and dip trio. I had the Happy Hour Hawaiian Chicken Sliders, and they tasted so fresh and delicious. My friend and I were repeatedly saying, “This is everything”. It was amazing and we will be back

Last month the Vagabond team hosted my (surprise) engagement party on their rooftop, and I couldn't have asked for a better venue!! From the moment we reached out to inquire about hosting our event, the staff was incredibly easy to work with and friendly. They were super flexible and accommodating to all our requests, making the planning process a breeze. The private rooftop reservation comfortably held our party of 50 guests, and everyone had a fantastic time. The food was delicious and perfect for sharing among our guests. Menu options were super flexible and affordable. We've been several times to eat in the restaurant since Vagabond opened (which is great in it's own right) but 10/10 for a private party - really happy about how it all went down! Thanks again to the Vagabond crew!

The atmosphere is pretty and food tasted good…the service was just reallyHorrible. We had a birthday party of 8 and the automatic 20% gratuity seems to be the reason we were so neglected. We were constantly waiting for drinks that our server forgot about. There was no server present when our meal came out(one meal was missing so we spent 10 Minutes waiting to eat before I had to go find the server). There was no two minute check-back to see if we needed anything or even liked our food. I had to get up and search for the manger and server an extra time each for. My girlfriend’s food came out 10 minutes after everyone else’s TWICE. Even after her correct meal came out there was still no check back or follow Up from The manager or server. Maybe the experience is better for smaller parties. Looked toBe about 2 or 3 servers and one manager on duty for the entire establishment on a Sunday brunch. Won’t be returning.

Love love loved the yucca here! It was crispy and delicious. Next time I think I'll get just that along with skewers. The poké was a huge portion and very filling and the bok choy was some of the best I ever had. We were sat right away on a Friday night and the service was good. They have three floors with the bottom one having a different ambiance! Go in and check it out yourself. I will be back for that yucca lol

Just back to leave ANOTHER stellar review for this place! Awesome service and great food and drinks at fair prices! $9 for really excellent happy hour cocktails makes me so pleased! Cloudbreak, Sunzal, and playa hermosa were all fantastic! The vagabond chips are delicious, along with the fish tacos and shrimp skewer! Already thinking about my next visit!

Red beet hummus had walnuts! Put a quick end to the night. Highly recommend a change to the menu.

This joint has been on my and my partner's list for a bit. We stopped in at 8:30 on a Thursday and found two bar stools in the corner. The bar tender was super friendly, and she works Thursdays and Saturdays, so for her alone I will definitely be back. The menu is coastal surfer themed, so everything you would imagine eating by a beach. We went with a variety of appetizers because we love to share. The dip trio and the sliders were our favorites. Cocktails and food are moderately priced, which is hard to find a place that has great quality and is affordable in DC. Thank you for a fun experience!

I really liked the space and decor. We enjoyed our food for brunch, especially the home fries, and I thought it was a good value. The service was mediocre though and the music was very loud. I'm sure many people are fine with that, but if you're sensitive to noise levels, I'd skip it.

I have walked pass Vagabond many times, hearing their great music coming from the upstairs bar and after checking out their menu, I decided to stop in. It was soon after they had opened that I decided to head in for happy hour. I liked the nautical theme and they had a lot of seating options. I was greeted by the staff and the bartender was sweet but almost seemed annoyed that I was there... perhaps because they had just opened. She was attentive nonetheless. For drinks I had the white sangria. It was okay but reminded me a lot of a premade bottled sangria I've had before. So I decided to try the Nazaré which I really enjoyed. It was refreshing and spicy but not too spicy! For food I tried the Skillet Esquites which I enjoyed, it was very creamy but I enjoyed the flavors. The Yucca fries were good but my favorite was the King's sliders. Cooked perfectly and I appreciated that there were not too many toppings and sauces. I'd stop by again (and maybe a little later next time lol) to check out their drinks and food options.

Came here last night with my partner around 6 pm, and we will be back! On the whole, it was a 4/5 experience. Beautiful interior and QUICK service (less than five minutes after we ordered). We got a couple of small plates, side dishes, and an entree to share. We ordered the following—- Portuguese . Flavorful sardines and butter spread. Would have liked more toast: the sardine-to-bread ratio was off, and for a dish in which the bread literally and metaphorically carried the dish, the plate was unbalanced.- Fish . AMAZING. We will be back for happy hour. The tortilla was flaky yet supportive, and the fish piece was generous. The cream and mango salsa were a perfect match: spread the cream around the fish before you take a bite!- . Fragrant sauce with bright sweet peppery complements! The octopus was a bit too charred for our liking.- Indonesian Fried . Pretty presentation but flavor was lacking. It left something to be desired.- Mediterranean . Bright, simple, and fragrant. Everything you could ask for in a salad. It reminded me of my days in southern Europe!

Me and some girl friend went here and were able to get right in without a reservation. The ambience was a low lite chill vibe. Very nice. The drinks were AMAZING and the food matched! There were great small plates or entrees. Will def go back!
