This is the ONLY authentic tea house in DC. I was a frequent patron at their former location, and I absolutely love their newest location as well. The owners here are absolutely amazing. They are sincere, kind, and extraordinarily knowledgeable about the origins, purpose, and flavor profiles of the tea that they serve. If you want boba, sweet iced tea, or anything other than simple, delicious, authentic tea service please go elsewhere.

This tea shop has the best full tea service for stunningly delicious Chinese teas grown on their farms. They offer delicious pastries here too and you can shop for new beautiful teaware to use at home. If you're staying at the Ven hotel, let them knows. That's important.When you enter the shop, just head up to the counter to order your tea. If you want the full tea service, you'll need to mention that so you get to brew your tea at your table. Otherwise, you can order tea by the mug. Either way, you'll enjoy their quality products and service.

Gorgeous, intimate space. Server working this morning was warm and extremely helpful. Just bought some bagged tea today but will definitely return to drink and enjoy the setting another time.
The tea service was very cool! The tea and pastries that we got were super tasty. Brewing and drinking from the special teaware made the experience so much more fun.
