I had a reservation of 5 for my birthday dinner at Limani's at 6:45PM yesterday and it was a beautiful experience! The food was great, the service was great, the ambience and more were fantastic! I will definitely go back ??.

We visited Lamani for brunch on my beautiful sunny day during the Cherry blosson festival in Washington DC. The space is beautiful and decorated very nicely and elegant. We had a table by the window overlooking the water and the cherry blossoms. We made this reservation anticipating a delicious tapas menu of Greek treats. Everything we sampled was delicious from the lamb to the spanakopita the pancakes with pistachios were delicious moussaka was delicious and the spreads were out of this world everything was fantastic no complaints whatsoever we will be back!

We went for brunch. The food was OK...not spectacular...not terrible. Just OK. I think I expected more given the location and the prices. Didn't come out as hot as I would like it and we often had to order things twice before arriving to the table. 20% is automatically added...so the service was not what it I thought it should be. We had to look around for our waitress a couple of times. The scenery and location were PERFECT. Overlooks the DC waterfront. If the ambience means more to you than the food...this is the perfect place.

Food was good but the service was very poor. We waited several minutes to put in a drink order then had to seek out our server multiple times to continue ordering. At the end we had to ask three different people to bring our check which came 15 minutes later. Very poor experience for such an upscale restaurant. We definitely won't return.

We visited Limani at the Wharf for the first time. The restaurant is beautiful. We sat by the window with a great view on the 2nd floor. We ordered the VIP tini, Trident of Poseiden, and the Monostiraki and they were all great. We ordered the Greek meze and Kolokithi chips and both were delicious. The calamari was good but not amazing. The sauce was bland. Those were all served quickly. However, we waited approximately 30 minutes after to get our second round of drinks, water refills and to put our dinner orders in. For dinner we ordered the lobster pasta, cowboy ribeye and the lamb chops. All cooked perfectly and delicious. However, we waited for approximately 40 mins to get our entrees. We ordered dessert but after waiting 30 mins - it turned out they didn't put the order in. It did come out quickly after we asked about it. Overall, we had a good experience because we were with good friends, had good food and conversation but we were there for 4 hours. If you're looking for a quick dinner it might not workout. Also, they have a penthouse level that just opened but when I asked can I make reservations for that level - I didn't get a straight answer. It is pretty nice up there though.

A beautiful new place to dine on the Potomac. The views and atmosphere are unexcelled. The food is a bit variable, ranging from fair to truly outstanding. The tuna steak was among the best we have ever enjoyed, but the fish soup was so subtle as to be almost bland. Fried calamari were excellent, and the assorted mezza was exceptionally delicious. Order carefully and have a grand night out here!

Dinner at Limani was absolutely delicious. The service was impeccable and the ambiance of the restaurant left an indelible mark on my guest, who had never eaten at Limani. She raved about the lemon potatoes which were cooked perfectly, along with the crab cake and asparagus. The coup de gras of course was the surprise at the end. The single slice of cake on the happy birthday plate that my friend managed to sneak in when I wasn't looking. Limani's is a great place to have dinner and entertain.

Celebrated my daughter's 22nd birthday and she absolutely enjoyed the experience. It was almost my first time. She said she felt like she was living a soft life of pampering and luxury. Which we were able to go upstairs to view the panoramic view but it was closed due to renovations.

We had very goood service from the host station to tableside — attentive and fun staff helped make the experience worthwhile. We also appreciated the complementary champagne in celebration of our anniversary. The views, of course, were outstanding. Unfortunately all the dishes we ordered — from octopus to lemon potatoes to crab cake and others (all appetizers) — were underseasoned, at least compared to our expectations via the prices. Textures were lovely — the scallops, octopus, crab cake all tender — but even salt was lacking, such that each of our orders was bland. Take this for what it's worth, we ate everything and it was all ok, but we expected a lot more of the food. Maybe the best taste of the night was from the cocktail menu, the Monostiraki. Delicious. If we return it will probably be to the bar for a drink and a view.

The space is lovely. The staff is friendly but not too well trained. We needed to ask 4 times for pita with our dip. The tomato salad was excellent. The crab cake was just OK. The feta in phyllo with honey had almost no honey. The dorado fish was good but full of small bones. The place was half empty and we could see why. It is way overpriced for what we got. There is great potential and I hope they up their game because it's a lovely restaurant.

It was our second visit and the experience was as delightful and the service as extraordinary as the first. It is the best destination for an exquisite meal and elegant ambience. A very memorable experience!

Limani is in a great location with incredible views. The service was good. The food was good, but for the price point, I expect to be wowed. Our meal cost what you would pay for a Michelin-starred experience in DC, and this was not of that caliber. If the price points weren't as high my review would have been higher, but we were disappointed.
