It pains me to write this. In the area for a short time and TWICE made a special trip to Maui for my favorite poke bowl. Both times I found the restaurant closed. Since my first attempted visit just a week ago the Saturday hours have been sloppily updated. Google Maps still shows the restaurant as open. This is no way to run a business.

Food is ALWAYS fresh. Owner is super sweet & helpful and always makes your bowl fresh if you order it online. Best poke around!

Amazing food but unfortunately they never open in time always opening late and that’s not the way to run a business in my opinion

I love the create your own poke bowl! There are many wonderful choices including creative toppings. I never thought I would put cream cheese in a poke bowl but it tastes like you're eating a sushi roll if you order tuna sashimi and avocado along with it...yum!

This was literally one of the best lunches I've ever had in my life, I'm so happy I decided to give it a try. I had no clue what to order and the dude was awesome helping me out.

The tuna was very fishy tasting and the tofu tasted a little old, I would give this three stars but the fish is a very important part of the dish so because of that I probably won't be eating here again.

Update:Every time we come here it is a great experience. Fresh, delicious, friendly, reasonable. Came again on Feb. 19, 2022 ....A+++++++_________________Everything was delicious & fresh...Steve the owner was kind and gracious. Restaurant was clean. Service fast. We both had tuna , salmon, brown rice , crispy flakes, chef recommended sauce, spinach, and corn...custom! It’s like soft sushi but better...could do this often!

Woman running this location is losing business; she's rude, snippy, rushes you, and does not make you feel welcome at all. Definitely not Aloha vibes in here. Makes faces at you and mumbles under her breath. She charged me extra on one of my bowls for substituting a vegetable for the sushi.

We wanted to try this place for the first time. Soon as I walk to the counter the woman is very rude and yelling at me of what I want. I started proceed and she was still Yelling at me so my and my friend decided to leave without our food.

Today me and my friend wanted to get some Poke bowls from this place. Soon as we walked in the door the lady at the front counter was very rude. So I decided to order anyway and forget the fact that she was rude. But then she started yelling at me of what I want what base I want. As soon as she got the end of making my bowl I asked my friend if he wanted to leave and he agreed. So she started making one bowl for us and we walked out With our money still in our pockets.

Save yourself the grief and drive 15 mins to Poke Bros (or at the very least the other Maui location), where they will actually treat you with common decency and respect as you order your food. Unlike this place, where the lady running the front of house makes it a point to let you know that your mere presence is an inconvenience to her - as if you aren't about to hand over $10-20 bucks. God forbid you make any additional request or take a beat too long to decide what you want, lest you be met with a scoff or eye roll.I recently sat outside this location, a 5 minute drive from my house, trying to figure out what the best way to order for pickup would be so I could avoid engaging with the steel-cold reception I get every time I visit when I decided I've had enough and that this place won't get one more dollar from me until she's not the person 'greeting' me. I'll sooner take my business elsewhere and so, off I went.

The previous 1-star reviews that mention the rude woman who is usually working the counter are 100% accurate.A few months ago, I tried to place an order about an hour before they closed, and the woman just said coldly, we close at 9. I figured she didn't want my order. Last night I figured I'd give them another chance. I placed an online order around 8 pm. Their menu says they close at 9pm, everyday. I called at 8:10pm to confirm and let them know I'd be in a little after 8:30 pm and the young man who answered, replied "okay, no problem, I will tell my mom. I think she is making your order now." I was running a few minutes behind - at 8:48, I'm pulling into the parking lot when my phone rings. It was that woman yelling at me like I was a juvenile delinquent, saying they had been waiting for me for over 45 minutes, they closed at 8:30. They can't leave because of me. When I told her I had just pulled into the parking lot, and that I had called and spoke to the young man, I don't think she even heard me because she kept yelling over me, and when there was finally a break in her yelling, it was because the line went dead - she had hung up on me! I pulled right up to the front door and walked inside. Since my order was prepaid, her son gave me the order with a smile and said "thank you, have a good night." She never turned around to look at me. As I was getting back in my car in front of the restaurant, I realized the hours posted out front still advertised, "everyday open til 9pm," as did the menu in my bag. The OPEN sign was still lit on the door, too. When there are so many other good restaurants in the area competing for business, I refuse to give any more money to one who is obnoxiously, overtly disrespectful to others as she is. I definitely won't make that mistake again. ✌️
