Atmosphere and service is very good. The food did not taste good at all - not at all. We purchased platters: Fried chicken (1 breast - cut in half and red in color), fish - was not bad. Sides: greens - bland and sugary, string beans - canned and bland, cabbage - dark brown and inedible, broccoli - had a fake artificial garlic butter taste, canned yams with little to none candied syrup, macaroni and cheese - blah, potato salad - soupy with clam chowder consistency - inedible, and corn muffins the color of banana bread. Since the review asked, I will share that I do not recommend any of the food.

The food here is incredible. I didn’t realize they had so many options. This is going to be a go-to. I ordered chicken, greens & mac cheese. Next time I’ll be trying the seafood. Way better option than fast food. Ordering ahead makes it easy to pick

I was so disappointed with the food. I ordered oxtails over yellow rice..they used jerk chicken marinade and slathered it so heavy the rice was inedible and I had to wipe off the sauce to taste the oxtails. I'm all for sauce but this was overdone. The sides were mediocre and the corn bread muffins burnt on the bottom. The turkey wings we ordered was ok but the fried cabbage was over seasoned and you could taste sugar. We wanted to like it but it's a no.

The Short Ribs was absolutely amazing fell right off the bone. The Mac & cheese was the best I’ve tasted outside of my moms. However the cabbage was unfortunately inedible and went in the trash. Too spicy couldn’t taste the flavor for the amount of pepper on them.

Tried giving this place another try and the worst ! Placed a order 30 mins ago get there waiting another 30 mins while the boy had a attuide cause I was mad tf who paying for my food me right .at least tell people it’s a 40 mins wait on top of that he tells me I had to wait because they ran out of to go plates who fault is that learn how to run a business first then have a attuide with people ! I understand things may happen but how u have a attuide about it with me? Then don’t offer nothing for my time I will never support again and tell everybody else to not .this why people businesses don’t survive one already closed

My first time there and my last. Ordered my food in store, waited in the parking lot for 20 minutes no notice of order ready, went in store inquired about my order, apparently it was never put in. Manager tried to make it right by offering free dessert if I waited while he prepared my order his self, so I waited another maybe 10 mins. Waste of time and money, the turkey wings were under cooked and the collard greens were so salty they were Inedible, fried fish was boarder line salty only edible dish was the Mac & cheese it was tasty. My bad I should have just gotten my money back. Never again very costly mistake.

Ok food sides are mediocre always long waits food never done when it's supposed to be or something is sold out and have to be subbed at the last minute. Small waiting area always cramped.

Do not waste your time people!! Ordered the Cat fish with Mac n Cheese and Collard Greens. The fish was way overcooked to the point that it was rubbery. The collard greens tasted like pure salt. Took one bite and had to throw it out. The only thing that was edible was the Mac n cheese .... and that was not all that. $17 wasted ... but at least i tried it once. Sorry but will not be back.
