I initially had planned to visit the cafe for some coffee previous since I enjoy coffee from small local cafes and never had a chance. I was working on my research report for my marketing class and requested an interview with the owner to talk about her marketing strategy. I had the pleasure of enjoying a cup of the Turkish coffee and boy was I in for a surprise! This is the best coffee I’ve ever had and I’ll definitely be visiting again to try out the food and enjoy more of that coffee!! Thank you Shima for hosting me and providing such a delicious experience!

We ordered tuna melts. Not only did we have to wait a while for them but we were surprised at our plate when they came out. A flat sandwich with hardly any tuna it in, and what tuna was there was mushy and falling out of the grilled bread. Flat sandwich with not much in it, no chips or no fries. A flat sandwich on a plate with nothing else. Not worth it. The person working there (the owner?) was very friendly though.

The Middle Eastern cuisine is outstanding, I found myself coming here multiple days in the same week. Would highly recommend the falafel and gyros sandwiches with Turkish coffee. The only thing better than the food is the warm hospitality, you are sure to be greeted by the most pleasant owner/chef.

What a little treasure. Tiny dining area with two ladies behind the counter. I felt like I was a guest in someone's home and it was perfect.

Cobblestone Cafe is a wonderful local spot full of delight. The interior is charming and very welcoming, though a little cramped due to being an older building. I feel this is no detriment to the wondeful service, food, and atmosphere of this location. The Turkish Coffee is delightful, as is the Turkish tea, and I would highly recommend one of both of these items. For a meal, I can wholeheartedly recommend the falafel, gyro, eggsalad and especially the hummus. The hummus was the best I've ever had. Everything here was very inexpensive, and I will be back regularly.Parking: There is a U shaped bend full of parking quite close to the Cafe.Wheelchair accessibility: This location is not wheelchair accessible due to its location in old delaware.

The Cobblestone Cafe is humble from the street view but a wonderful, friendly refuge inside. It is a perfect stop for breakfast or lunch at 408 South State Street, Dover, DE.Vegetarian options: It does not feature vegetarian options but for breakfast or lunch there are many options if egg, cheese and pastry, pancakes etc will satisfy you.

An adorable little coffee/breakfast cafe, the atmosphere was spot on and incredibly warm, the hostess was very accommodating and kind, and the food was homey and delicious. If you're in the mood for a quiet breakfast or a small gathering this is a great place to go.

Just out site-seeing and stopped for lunch. Beautiful day so we sat outside. Menu had a nice selection, what we ordered was very good and the price more than reasonable.

I will say there was good service, the ladies seem kind. There’s three tables, all cramped closed together. All the chairs are mismatch, you sit so close to a stranger it’s uncomfortable. There’s old movies and books everywhere, it’s like a horder opened a business in their home. I was very uncomfortable with the entire experience. The matcha I had tasted like dirt, the breakfast burrito was alright but for 6.50 was way too much. Stained paper menus for real?

Ordered a Turkish Coffee for dining in and got a hibiscus tea and hot dog on my way out. They were all good, but the Turkish Coffee was the star of the show. The lady who made it gave me details and instructions on drinking it (it was my first time drinking Turkish Coffee). It was served with Turkish delight, and that was delightful. As I sipped my coffee, and the light amount of froth at the top began to dissipate, I looked down and saw that a heart had formed. Pretty fitting considering it reflected how I felt about Cobblestone Coffee.
