We recently stayed at Dover Downs hotel and we were looking forward to eating at the garden…Unfortunately the garden is no longer in Dover Downs casino anymore.... We liked it much better than the sugar factory Which has taken the gardens place… we will never ever go to The sugar factory again

The front-end management was surprisingly horrible. We had breakfast reservations for 9:30am, and were not seated until 10:00am, with no explanation from any front-end staff for the wait. Uncharacteristically bad customer service.

We were disappointed that the steak house and Italian restaurants were closed on Monday so we were stuck with the garden cafe. We found out just how stuck we were it was almost empty and it took a while to be seated. The wait service was very slow and the food was awful. How can a casino not have a fancy restaurant open on Monday. Our wings and potato wedges were barely warm and the wings overcooked. We are staying again tomorrow night but will be eating out.

I made reservations on line for 11:30am. I get there at 11:20am and make an inquiry in reference to my reservations and was inform that there system was down and I needed to stand in line. We were seated at 11:50am and was given a Breakfast menu, once the waiter came to our table I asked for a lunch menu and was informed they were still serving Breakfast and would not be serving lunch for another 25 minutes. We got up and went to the counter an attempted to order lunch to go, but they were not taking orders. I was asked if I wanted to talk with the manager from a staff member. Why should I waste my time talking to the manager of an organization that is not doing there job. Breakfast is from 8:00-11:00 am. Why didn't lunch start at 11:00 am, why is your computer system down. This facility is not being managed properly! Very bad experience!

Dinner after playing at Dover Down Casino before heading back home .. we both had Ceasar salad.. good tasty salad dinner overlooking the casino floor.. social distancing in effect not to crowded.. bar side is open for those who wants to drink.. definitely recommended for a good lunch or dinner

There was a mixup on my order and the waiter was not the friendliest at first and I think it was because he was annoyed about the mixup but that wasn’t my fault. The food was just okay.

I have to say that Dover Downs Garden Cafe has to have the very worst customer service that I have ever seen in my 50 some years. The night my husband and I had dinner we had a waiter that never checked on us even once during our meal. My husband ate his entire meal and never did receive a tea. I ended up sharing the one tea I received. The place was not busy so I have no idea why we can not get waited on. I will say the food was average but good. The day we were checking out I stopped at the bar and ordered two teas to go. I took one to mt husband but as soon as we tasted it, we knew it had soured. So I returned them to the bar and ask for diet cokes. A couple days later I say my bank and Dover had charged my $12 for two drinks. I called to report the mistake and let messages with at least 6 or 7 people for a manager to call me back but after 2 weeks still had no one to help me. I finally called again and received a call from the food and beverage manager and she promised to help. Its now been 2 weeks messing with her and still no resolution. How incompetent can someone be. I am not going away till someone fixes the problem. Do yourself a favor and avoid the place like the plague!!!

Worse experience ever chicken not done fly under my steak FRIED ? COLD FRIES and THEN WHEN I ASKED FOR STRAWBERRY LEMONADE Brought me watered down said it was out never brought the sprite I asked for in place? Never GOING BACK
I've had good and bad service and food here. They have some good cooks and some that need some training. I've order a hamburger well done and it came rare. The wings were served cold and fries were also cold.

when gambling late on the tables or slots this place is the only place to eat and I found it reasonable and delicious.

Such rude wait staff silverware was dirty ask for clean was told there was nothing wrong with the set we had. We just got up and left
