What a perfect way to spend a rainy afternoon. My husband and I went in here for a late "brunch" on Saturday. The staff were friendly, the food was delicious and the fire was going (thought that was a great touch). We lucked out with it not being too busy at the time. The chef let us know about some of the veggies/herbs that were grown in her garden. I loved knowing we were eating fresh food. The interior is very cozy, comforting and eclectic. Oh! I almost forgot... The Bloody Mary's are on point! Definitely a must if you eat here.
A bit unique being converted from an old home but had plenty of space inside. Solid drink selection with trivia on Wednesdays, best to get a reservation for that. Had ribeye and double (almost triple) mashed potatoes, delicious all around so will be back when in town for work

Food was very good, hostess is excellent, service, not much personality, but got the job done .Could easily be five stars if it wasn't for the bartender. It wasn't even busy for a Saturday evening so it's not like the staff was rushing around. There should be more friendliness for the patrons. Thankfully the hostess smiles.When most everything else is closed in downtown Dover, the Grey Fox Grille should cherish the business that they do get. It's a great spot to hang out and watch a game at the bar. It has great atmosphere. It has a lot more potential.

I went in with two other service members for brunch. It took forever to get our food and the waitress was almost non existent. We could not hear each other over the music and a hair was found in one of the plates when we finally did get our food. The waitress seemed mad at us that it was brought up and it took about 20 minutes before it was addressed. We later couldn’t even find the waitress to pay. I see a review was left and the business chose to lie and say it never happened. I’m unsure if this business is incompetent 24/7 or if they take breaks but I would not recommend coming to a business that refuses to recognize simple mistakes let alone blame the customer and say they are bad tippers. Do better

The live music is too much for the bare walls in the house. The mic & speaker for him isn't necessary. Plus the guy really butchers the songs he covers by adding his "flare". (Don't change tempos unless yours is better. Fast car turned into slow car real fast)I found a long hair on my eggs. When I finally got my eggs back it was like a scoop of eggs, as opposed to the original amount. The place needs more staff. The wait is ridiculous for how promising the place is and I can almost guarantee the question has been raise before. I can tell cuz it's all the bare minimum in construction and ambiance. I hope you fix the issues. It really has some promise.Edit after the business' response:I can assure you I sent my food back. But after your response on food and insinuating my tipping is poor, I don't think you're quite ready to take criticism and improve your business.And what I meant by bare walls is that, acoustically, they bounce the sound waves around much more than curtains or anything else on the walls. The volume of the music just gets amplified and makes the ears hurt. I recommend you take more than a gloss at the response to find the stuff you can reply to with a comeback next time. And I hope your server who was hospitalized gets back to 100% as soon as possible.

Offended by tee shirt wait staff word so that do give zero fox given a play on words for fox , we asked a wait staff to get clarity and he confirmed its they give zero ( the f word ) that would be cute perhaps in a bar but totally in appropriate in the setting that I was dining if bad
