Horrible. They over charged me for my order. Turkey wings were trash. Portions small and salty. Real salty. 51 bucks for turkey wing platter and a large catfish platter. No worries. Most me that much to rid myself of you guys. Place was a mess. So long.

I ordered curry shrimp and an oxtail platter. There were 8 medium sized shrimp with no sauce. When I opened the oxtail, there was one small oxtail with meat. It also contained four more tiny oxtails with ABSOLUTELY no meat.When I called the place, they told me the curry sauce must have been absorbed into the rice. Regarding the oxtail, I was told they placed more in there than that. You really think I would waste my time to call, if that’s was the case. For the solution, he asked for my first and last name to give me money off the next time. Like no, there won’t be a next time. I just hope no one else experiences what we went through. Close to $45-50 for flavored rice and bland cabbage. Happy Friday! By time you read this, they’ll be out of business!

The plantains I purchased today were horrible and should not have been for sale. They were as dry as a bone. Going forward I'll remember not to purchase anything else from there. Please focus on either Jamaican food or soul food.... Thank you.

So we didn't eat here. We heard how great Momma G's food was, operative word, so we went out of our way to eat there. Once there, we learned that Momma G doesn't own the restaurant anymore. We stood at the counter and didn't smell any food cooking. ? The outside says Momma G's, but the menus posted inside let's you know it's not Momma G's .

The guy that's brought me my food which was collards and mac and cheese the collards container spill out on the counter and he put his hands on it to put it back inside the container first of all it being on the counter which probably was dirty and then on top of that he use his bare hands and put it back in there and thought that was okay. My issue is if he did that in front of me what are they doing in the back. This has made me decide I have to start making my own food
Save your time and just leave this place empty like it is everyday for a REASON. I don’t even know why the place is even open honestly. For one, they open on whatever hours they feel like (you’ll come when it says they’re open and they’re actually not)….for two, MAJORITY OF THEIR MENU DOESNT EVEN EXIST….they don’t even have brown stew chicken so I can only imagine what other simple dishes they have on the menu but don’t actually make. The menu inside literally has prices but says “prices are not accurate”. This whole place is just unprofessional, smells horrible inside, nobody at the counter for 20 minutes all for you to hear their menu isn’t even their menu. Save your time and go anywhere but here.

I just want to share. I walked in to pick up a doordash order. You immediately get hit with a disgusting ? smell. The whole place smelt like a house full of cats, the smell alone should make you second guess the food they are cooking. It was awful smelling.

Order: wings, cat fish, Mac and cheese, yams, banana pudding ( which used to be my favorite).The chicken was so salty it wasn't edible. The fish was under cooked and extremely oily ( not edible), the yams were disgusting, the Mac was essentially noodles with butter, and the banana pudding which was previously amazing tasted like boxed powdery pudding. And the restaurant flat out stinks and is dirty. Complete waste of money. Never again.
