The food is usually pretty good - but I have to give it 1 star because I never got mine until everyone else at the table was done and asking for the check .... 3x we needed to ask after a 2.25 hour ordeal. The Giacoboli used to be a staple back when the old man ran the place - new owners are falling way short. Really, a stromboli you can hold in the palm of your hand (I think that is a pizza turn-over lol) - for what used to be enough for 2 people and having to take some home - I threw it away out of such disappointment / won’t be back - do not recommend with such bad service, quality - on top of raised prices - wow / how long will they last?We still gave a 20% tip, because this was not the fault of the waitress, she was stretched way too thin - and that is bad management.not meaning to rant, but have to point out - that giacobloli that they carefully prepared for an hour and 25 min, was under-cooked and did not have the ingredient’s I ordered (it quite possibly was someone else’s order it was so far off). I have been a fan of this establishment, proven by hundreds of visits – no more. Just sorry to see a staple of Dover fall.

The pizza was amazing for me, but not for my fiance since they made it incorrectly. It was supposed to be half pepperoni, half mushrooms and onions. They put all three toppings over the whole pizza.

Love their service but I have to say the cheesesteak I ate from here last night was mediocre. Extremely light on the steak and onions and peppers...Put it this way, the hoagie roll the steak was on was 12 inches, chopped in two, I could’ve scrapped all the meat off one end of the roll and put it all on the other end no problem, there’d be no spillage. This would be acceptable for a $7 diner cheesesteak but for $16 you can find much better cheesesteaks around.

Delicious food, especially their pizza. Friendly owners and staff. Katy is a sweetheart. I've been a patron here since my college years in the early 1980's.
My family recently dined in at Giacomo's and enjoyed our experience. Our server was very friendly and attentive. The menu is pretty standard for Italian food, they have pizza, calzones, etc. but we all had our eyes on the subs. The regular size sub is 12" and is definitely enough for two meals, to share with a friend or, if you're super hungry, tackle it all yourself! I opted for the eggplant parmigiana sub, which was delicious. I ate half of my sub and took the other half home. My husband and I shared an order of fries. The fries were pretty plain, so if I went again I'd probably get cheese fries or another side instead. All in all a nice restaurant and I would happily come back when I am in the area.

Kind of a joke. Spent $45 for a large margharita and a large tomato pie. Receved two crusts with some pizza sauce and a few slices of mozzarella. So many pizza places, wont be back.
I've always been an excellent restaurant and excellent food I've been a patron of those for many years and I used to work for Jack. He was clean and very great gentleman to work for.

Excellent pizza.Waitresses are pleasant, friendly and genuinely interested if your pizza, dinner, salads, and service, or needs are met.If I brag too much about this place then everyone will know how fabulous the food and service is. Shhh. Best kept secret for the best pizza!
